For months I had a Grey chin with Golden status. But today I looked at old Ruth and she lost the shiny status. In the pen, there was a new shiny but an adolescent Crystal female.
- Has Ruth gave up on the title and wants to retire? (boring)
- Was there a Fight Club? If so, how can I enter.
- How the hell did the code mess that up?

This is an impossible situation. A grey cannot simply convert into a crystal, that's not how the code works. I I suspect you may have accidentally removed the chinchompa somehow. I can't think of any way that an animal could lose it's shiny flag, once it's been born we never touch that flag again so it shouldn't be possible.
Send a bug report anyway. We can use the data in the bug report to investigate and that data is far more useful than a few screenshots on reddit. But I've just taken a look over the code and I can't see anything that would cause it, so I'll need more data from the bug report to investigate further (but it'll not be til after the christmas week now as I am offski).
