Here's a list of my personal feedback towards the M&S Rework. Please feel free to retort any of my claims and/or add your own.
Coal and Bane Ores visually too similar
Necrite and Adamantite Ores visually too similar
Extremely Difficult to spot Rockortunities at Bane ore due to white environment
Trahaearn hour feels like one step forward and one step back. 20% bxp but no rockortunities.Edit: I've just had bad luck, apparently having multiple of same animica are more common than I believed.Artisans Workshop Respect feels much slower than pre-update. For the time, money, and effort to make a full set of burial armor, the respect reward feels VERY underwhelming.
Ceremonial Swords. I would much rather be able to make ceremonial swords on my own volition as a method to max respect and suffer lower xp/ore. As a personal suggestion, I would rather Doric & Boric tasks be introduced as a D&D that can be given randomly while mining or smithing.
What incentive is there to mine in the wilderness?
Can we get an icon on the buff bar for the Varrock Platebody?
Just my 2 cents, but elder rune pickaxes and the Pickaxe of Earth and Song just aesthetically dont look or feel like BIS items. There was that glass-like intricacy to the crystal pickaxe that made it feel pristine but E&S just looks like an imcando with some extra details.
Someone stated in a previous livestream that DeepSea Fishing Frenzy was a failed attempt to offer a high-intensity skilling method. I feel like 4tick mining and rockorunities has been an incredible improvement on that model.
Can we toggle off specific geodes?
The Master Clue step that requires you to smith a Rune Full Helm takes significantly longer than pre-update, can this be looked into?
Tuned Bane ore cannot be stored in Metal Bank
When opening Geodes, filter out the chatbox messages and open them much faster. I don't think it needs to be so time-gated if we're just getting 80% trash gems. EDIT: Spam click to open fast, but the auto-open really needs to just open fast as spam clicking anyways.
Ore Box max capacity of 140 is nice, but it barely lasts a half hour at animica rocks. I'd rather just just porters than have to bank every half hour (and even more regularly at lower tier rocks). I wouldn't be opposed to more high tier options to upgrade the box further (quest rewards, artisan workshop reward, turn the box into untradeable).
The smithing interfaces are by-far the most un-intuitive part of the update. Move the Bar selection window in the SMITHING interface to be more like a menu ribbon and auto-collapse all the project selection windows by default except for your most recently smithed item.
There is definitely a vanacy in smithing for a useful familiar.
I've sent this over to the team for you :)
