f*ck sakes, it's been literally 5 months and the Mac NXT client will not go above 30fps, and I know I'm not the only one because there have been several posts of others experiencing the same issue.

Not a single acknowledgement from anyone. Not one f*cking "we'll look into it" or "sorry for the inconvenience, what can we do to help", nothing. Not one f*cking word. We're paying customers and this is not acceptable.

My solution for the past 5 months have been to just boot camp into windows but this is stupid because if I wanted to run windows I would have bought a pc. Fix it already, dammit!

edit: specs are 2019 MacBook Pro i9 8 Core, 16GB Ram, RX560x

I've submitted multiple bug reports, what they've told me is to check my settings and delete cache. Like really?

Also I've been suffering from CVDisplaylink crashes and the awful optimization of mac client. Running NXT in bootcamp results in +70fps easily with high graphics settings. In MacOS I'll barely hit 60 with medium settings and suffer from stuttering.

If you can pastebin the wall of text from the crash report dialog I can look into the exact cause of your crashes

As to the performance, especially stuttering, blame Apple for deprecating OpenGL. Stuff that works perfectly on every other platform, including iOS(!), causes driver stalls on macOS. It's not a matter of us ignoring the issue, it's that we literally cannot do anything about it. Even the upcoming multi-threaded rendering, which offers a significant performance boost across the board, we had to disable on macOS because of driver stalls that are outside of our control
