So I considered this when I was making the dynamic DG map, however I decided against it when I spoke to others around the RS team

To me there’s still a skill barrier when it comes to effectively figuring out your paths and I don’t feel like the map should handhold you when it comes to doors, etc

The map is a way of guiding your path, just my two cents! But I’m eager to hear feedback :)

Your justification of Alt-1 does not mean we should do it

It’s an overlay that tries to provide that information, I also disagree with it being bad design

You’re literally in an unexplored maze, that’s the reason why the information is limited and basic and in my opinion that’s the way it should be
