[2019] Farming Master Cape perk and farming guild reputation not working properly?

Hi, when farming herbs I get reputation per action - however, when the farming perk triggers and I harvest and note all of the remaining herbs in the patch I get the XP multiplier for all the herbs but the only same reputation as if I picked a single one. Surely it should multiply up in the same way?
