I like mobile. It lets me AFK skill while I'm at work. That being said, I felt I'd air some of my grievances.

  1. Authenticator is an absolute pain to use with mobile. Swapping to another app to log in, or open the bank is very frustrating.

  2. Mobile battery usage is insane. Even on the lowest settings it sucks the life out of my phone. More than any other app I've ever used. The only comparable drain is GearVR which should be way more demanding.

  3. Switching windows is hit and miss with the app. Sometimes you'll be fine and can enter your auth pin without too much trouble. Other times you lobby and have to log back in. Most often, you get kicked to the login screen and have to hope your auth pin lasts long enough to open your bank when the app finished loading. For a mobile app, it really needs to be able to run in the background without crashing to login.

  4. There is no consistency with the password login screen. Sometimes it will make me type my password several times a day. Other times I can go for over a week without doing so.

My suggestions:

Integrate our credentials with biometrics so we can log in with a fingerprint.

Find a way to either link our authenticator app to the RuneScape app, or some other fix to make it user friendly.

Make it work in the background. It's silly that we should have to log in again of we want to answer a text or open my authenticator app.

I want to encourage the Jmods working on this project. It's a monumental achievement to get RS3 on a smartphone. I'm very happy that it's here for Android. A word of caution to the powers that be: if you don't fix these issues, players will get frustrated and stop using mobile. New players won't put up with these sorts of issues either.

TL;DR please make the game stable and make authenticator work better with rs mobile.

Weird one, but if I've got spotify playing in the background whilst playing mobile, clicking on the bank or other random places will crash spotify entirely. Then switching tabs to fix it logs me out - very annoying

This is happening due to lack of ram

Same applies to the other people with issues switching app, in most cases it is ram constraints or aggressive os power management
