So in early April I tried to complete sliskes endgame the big finale in the god quest line which I was pretty hyped for but almost immediately ran into a bug that put a full stop to the quest.
So in the quest you have to complete a big f*ck off maze which also contains several puzzle rooms you have to complete. The very first room is a spotlight puzzle room with a simple premise. You try to stay in the spotlight while it moves around the room and if you stand in it long enough you complete the room.
Pretty easy right?
Only when I got to this room. There wasn't
I've checked multiple guides and youtube tutorials on this quest and googling this issue only showed 1 other person at all mentioning it who didn't even find a solution at the time. I've filed a bug report and even sent in a physical letter to jagex hq. I had a friend reach out to mods on twitter (I don't have twitter) with no luck. I've messed around with my graphical settings and even tried it on the old java version with still no luck.
I've tried everything I can think of and 3 months on this bug still remains and I can't finish the quest.
And all this while newer quests are coming out that have sliskes endgame needed for them for plot reasons (On the recommended list but I do quests because I enjoy the stories so theres no way I'm going to skip such a big story quest as this).
I honestly don't know what else to do except hope that if I keep making posts about it now eventually a mod will see one. So... Yeah, fix the bug and let me finish sliskes endgame. I'm only 4 quests away from this questcape and I want to finish them.
Edit: Forgot to mention this initially but yes I have tried it on other computers as well. It didn't work on them either.
