Hi, I'm Joffrey and if you don't know me just know I am very active in flipping with high level gear.
A few weeks ago I noticed a steady decline in trimmee masterwork gear prices, mainly the platebody. It dropped 80M->70M>60M stayed stable for a little while and then plummeted to 45M->35M and now is around 27M. Normally I wouldn't stress it because I have seen things crash, but for the instance it caught my eye. Mainly because throughout most of this time majority of the other pieces stayed stable until top was nearly identical in price to legs, and then the legs price would drop down in price to match the ratio, or in a recent scenario drop ~10M overnight(which isn't unusual, but you would think they would decline at the same time and not just do one big drop once identical in price). Another thing that is very questionable is that torva and malevolent have been relatively stable in price. As it stands, a torva plate is 34M and a Trimmed masterwork top is 27M. If you can see the issue, it requires 5 master trims and a masterwork platebody to make a Trimmed masterwork platebody, so it is absolutely not worth making this gear currently. Out of curiosity I bought plates in bulk, one time at 60M (All at the same price, meaning it was one mass seller, also luckily being able to sell most off)and again at 36M. Although I was offline when the 36M offer filled, I have a feeling it was from the same mass producer.
This is where I bring in my conspiracy. I think there is a bug somewhere. I think it happens when you attach the trim to the gear, because the prices of masterwork gear, torva, malevolent and master work trims have all been pretty stable. The only items that are crashing hard are the trimmed masterwork armours. I have tweeted at Jmods and only got a response from Jack saying "I can't look at it until I'm back from easter Holiday". I am having no luck getting anybody else to even investigate this, which I do think someone should ASAP to just say no bug is being abused and it is someone rich enough to crash trimmed masterwork prices for the fun of it.
All I really want is for a JMod to look into this and hopefully deny my suspicions that there is a bug(or possibly a dupe) in regards to Trimmed Masterwork gear. I've tried for a few days, and decided to resort to Reddit in hoping this will get enough attention to warrant JMods to actually look into this matter.

I think people are having misconceptions. I am talking about the trimmed set, which you need both malevolent and praesulic essence to make a trim, and then attach it to the masterwork gear.
I am not talking about Masterwork that you can just make from ores, into bars and then into the gear. I am talking about the Trimmed Masterwork gear, where you take the completed masterwork gear and attach trims to it.
