Not true Rubic, you're literally using the title to clickbait negative comments.

It wasn't just individual comments that forced the changes, I led the way on most of them as we needed a refresh, I literally already replied to you on Twitter regarding the W100 Quester thing, and we're going to be adding Shades back to W88

If you want to direct the blame for the world changes, point 'em my way as that's my fault :D

Just to give a chance really, also Shades we're going to add back to W88.

You're right that it was meant to clickbait, but I don't see how the title isn't true. There wasn't any further feedback or discussion from the players. I don't recall any other Jmods responding to the suggestions, or talking to the communities involved (if so I apologize).

Are you saying that these changes would still have occurred if those tweet suggestions weren't made? If so, I'd consider that far worse. The point of my post is that this wasn't a discussion at all, it was just one sided.

The title isn't true, because Twitter wasn't the be all and end all for the decision.

Myself and /u/ModEasty talked about these changes before I even tweeted them out.

We discussed changing up our world descriptions as we had missed removing Mobilising Armies so we thought while we're at it let's shake things up.

While it may not be "public" we do discuss these things and the Tweet helped validate what we wanted to go for.

Also

Also, if you need more room for specific activities then remove the large number of Legacy worlds which almost always have low player counts.

You say this, but if we were to do that we'd have to speak to the Legacy players as it's a direct change to a mandatory gameplay feature that happens when you go on the world.

In that case I agree I should have re-worded my title. But I still stand by the stance that changing community features without active discussion with the community seems like a very disrespectful move to those communities.

But you've just said you wanted to remove legacy worlds, which seems disrespectful to the Legacy players?

Yeah I can see your point, but that can easily be sorted, it happens. :)

You could have polled a few of these in the poll system :)

True, and a consideration for the future

As is the way with polls though we have to set it up on the module the send to LOC then prep in a game update, etc.

This was and I believe at the time the quickest thing we could do that’d have more benefit some worlds ofc we got wrong but we can easily sort that :)
