With the forums going read-only, we're hoping that we can preserve a lot of classic posts from threads long-past so if you do find particular posts of value, please grab records of them and screenshots.
We may be able to put together a blog post closer to the time that the Forums go offline with a collection of iconic moments in the Forums history.
I personally would love to see as many valued and treasured posts kept for posterity as possible.
Anyway we can display how long we've been a continuous member elsewhere? The forums had this information underneath the avatar. I've been autistically renewing my membership going onto 22 years of continuous membership just because I like seeing the number
That's an excellent point, and a piece of feedback I'm very happy to raise. I can see if the team who look after the website have any ways we can integrate that information somewhere it can be publicly displayed, as I think that kind of sustained support should absolutely be celebrated.
