I don't really understand how these things work so forgive me. I just want to know if I'll finally have a decent client to play RS on. The current one has constantly had problems across multiple laptops, but steam games have always played fine.
External link →man it's happened for years. I've always played on Macbook, sometimes it crashes on startup, sometimes it just hangs for a while and other times it just crashes and shuts down. I made a complaint about it years ago on my old Macbook but was met with the usual "get a pc bro" responses. I took a 3 year break, now I have a new Macbook yet all of those problems still occur. It's the main reason I never do bossing, the other day it crashes during my first Seiryu attempt, I was 25 minutes in and had to start the whole thing over. It makes any non afk-combat so risky.
Are you still seeing these issues on mac as of the update 1 week ago? Unless you are affected by the High Sierra bug, the mac client should be more stable and multiple players with similar issues have confirmed this
