Hello, ever since last Mondays update, on the 22nd of January 2018, I've been having this problem all week with NXT freezing with no apparent reason, I can still move, chat, eat food, teleport etc... But the visual freezes and I have to reload the client to be able to play again, at first I thought this was an issue with my drivers because of the way the crash was listed but now I've found a few other people randomly that have the same problem on HP computers. If anyone can link any J-Mods to this post I'd be happy to provide maintenance logs of the crashes but I assure you, I've tried everything to fix it, rolling back my drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling up to date versions, wiping Runescape off my PC and reinstalling it. I'd love some help from Jagex if that's in any way possible, Thanks and I'll link some screenshots of a few logs on the crashes as well as a conversation with someone while Dungeoneering after I had crashed.

Hey there,

I know you have said you have updated your drivers but how you explain it is a HP only issue, I'm going to assume you have an incorrect driver as I can see you driver is from 06/2017 and the latest is 07/2017. Your friend also has an Intel 600 series graphics card.

If my digging and assumptions are correct. Use the following link to update your graphics drivers. As it is a HP branded device, you will need to get the drivers from the manufacturer, unless you nuked your laptop when you bought it (Which I would recommend as it gets rid of all the bloatware)

Check to see if this is your laptop then install the latest "Driver-Display" and "Driver-Graphics" to your device.

Intel 600 series graphics cards from 3rd party vendors tend to have questionable drivers to begin with. If the update doesn't work, I would suggest you try and download them from intel directly instead.

I'm all too familiar with these issues with the new style Intel card as I suffered from a similar problem for about 2 months before I nuked my device and downloaded the drivers from Intel directly. It was a lot more complicated then that for me though as Windows 10 would constantly try and re-install the "latest" broken driver from an emergency driver folder within your computer. So removing that, uninstalling the graphics driver completely and having the fixed version in that folder to automatically re-install it for me did the trick. Convoluted fix for something so simple...

Hope this helps, if you have any further issues, let me know. I'll then put a purchase request in for a HP laptop with an Intel 600 series integrated GPU.

Cheers,
