I can login perfectly fine on the website and on OSRS but when I try to login on the RS3 Client and fill in my login stuff and press the login button I receive the message "Logging In - Please Wait" and after a few seconds it pops back to my login screen.
I played for a few hours before the update and now with the update it's broken, I even restarted the client multiple times and even installed it again.

I can confirm that disabling the authenticator fixed the issue. After I re-enabled it, it went back to not allowing me to log in.
Disabling authenticator is very much not recommended - we'd strongly suggest you hold tight here. We've also determined it's not the root cause of this issue even if it unblocked you in this instance.
