For GameJam this week one of our UI artists and I looked at reworking the Aura UI and icons. I've always disliked how they aren't very readable or memorable so I constantly have to hover over them to find what I want.

The main objective was to make both the icon itself and the aura's tiers more readable - did you know that in the live game the red boxes and blue circle are used to denote an Aura's tier?
Here's an example of a refreshed icon with some new shape language to communicate tiers: [Image]

Note that in the image below only the Salvation aura (1st one) has a new central icon, the others use their old icons as we didn't have enough time but all images here are just for proof of concept, not mid-dev currently

And in the process of writing this tweet the wonderful aforementioned UI artist (Mod Monotypy?) also provided some possible alternatives for Tier 3+ auras to help set them apart more visually
