[2020] Runescape needs more players put the game on steam and Epic games store

Hi All, hopefully you have heard me say in the past on how important bringing new blood into the game is important to us, I have heard how important it is to you as well.

With Archaeology and explosive activity in recent months, this has been a great reminder. I look at everything from new platforms, new ways to distribute the game and how we can grow into new markets and new audiences. We have a growing cross play strategy, and would like to make the game more accessible to a wider range of players, more on your terms too. The sum of all the parts will be a beehive of activity, and filling Gielinor with more citizens.

I have a number of initiatives well in development that will be addressing this. When these are firmed up in delivery confidence I will be sharing that with you :)

From a game size and activity point of view, RS is in very healthy shape overall. No where near dying off, quite the opposite actually. We hit a number of new subscriber records these past months. Pretty cool for a 20 year old game imo :)

So much more to do though, and we can do way better!
