Some people got locked out of their accounts on 4/12 at 7:00 game time. I think most people were able to recover their accounts, but others have now lost their accounts and all their work. This is truly I think unacceptable. Support LITERALLY refuses to answer.

Please tag jmods when you comment, make them see this post. Jagex should not be able to pull this crap with immunity.

Hi there, Mod Noodles from Player Support here. Without seeing your account directly, it's difficult to say why it may have been locked, however accounts are typically locked as a security measure to prevent third party activity. Please rest assured that your account won't have been deleted or your progress lost. It sounds like you previously tried to get in contact via a Subject Access request, however in order to regain access to your account, you'll need to submit an account recovery. You can get started here. We'll be investigating and working with the relevant teams over the next few days to determine whether any other accounts have been affected. I hope this clears up any confusion. :)

Hey, there was a handful of accounts locked on Friday morning for precautionary checks to ensure that everything was in order. Whilst the majority of accounts were unlocked within minutes, 9 accounts remained locked over the weekend. I've now added missed membership to these accounts and unlocked them - please do note that an account lock doesn't mean you will have "lost their accounts and all their work" - they can simply be unlocked via the website.
