We are constantly kept in the dark about things and things like bugs or requests were constantly escalated and communicated to players by Shauny

I appreciate this but we need to look at this from a wider viewpoint.

Note: Before I dive into this please note I don't have time to see everything on-going on RS nowdays so I probably have missed stuff.

Communication

Based on what I've seen from Orion, there's now a different approach to how comms are done for issues, this isn't a bad thing whatsoever and I feel like RS is in such a unique time where they need time to find their feet.

I have to state that my way of doing comms wasn't exactly "officially" the way to do it, but I tried to look at things as a player and to me transparency was the way.

Random thoughts

Truth be told when I first joined the RS team my knowledge was awful, I was plopped on an Invention launch stream and I just didn't know anything and felt woeful at being able to answer stuff.

I love playing this game and still try to do so each day and growing up learning the game while representing it was a pleasure to do so.

Personally I do wish we had a bit more of an idea what was coming up for RS, week to week we don't really know what updates are coming which can be fine depending on what's coming but I'm a sucker for knowing what's actually coming up.

I honestly believe it'll end up good in the end and people who work on that game are ridiculously dedicated and awesome at what they do, so I'm reassured in that regard.

Let's see how things play out!

Edit: I wanted to add an edit because it's worth mentioning that very recently RS just hired a new lead CM (it seems weird that I'm saying this without some sort of announcement on Twitter, etc but it was published on LinkedIn, it's someone I consider to be a close friend who brings a ridiculous amount of CM experience with him, it makes me excited for the future.
