This is an outcry for many of your players still being affected by the engine changes of three weeks ago. Iā€™d suggest to sticky a Reddit post and ask for feedback there so we can speed up the process of finding a solution.

If you submit a ticket, please include the following system details where possible:

  1. Device (e.g. PC, Mac, Samsung S20, iPhone 10)
  2. Operating System (e.g. Windows 10 21H2, macOS 12.5.1, Android 12, iOS 15)
  3. GPU model (eg. NVidia 2070, Intel HD 620, Apple M1)
  4. GPU driver version

In terms of where we are, the good(ish) news is the Client Fix released 11 days ago appears to have solved a lot of instances of this - but we know there's some of you out there still suffering.

The Engine team are still working hard on it, but we're in an investigation phase of trying to do our best to resolve this. Definitely understand the upset around the timeline - honestly, the patience is massively appreciated, we know this has some real impact to playing - it's just this phase is really complex.

We'll talk about how we make our updates more known or visible around this. Going to tag in /u/JagexAzanna to see what we can do to visibly communicate more and keep you better updated.

Heyo! It's understandable to feel off about this situation, unfortunately, due to the nature of these issues it's not a "one size fits all" kinda case, our team is reviewing reports from players to narrow down the causes of issues and are actively working on applying fixes where possible but gathering data and filtering out regular issues (graphic drivers not in date etc) is a slow process.
