| 154s | vath resurrected from the ice beneath |
| 157s | unale I've got a little little write up |
| 158s | here that I want to I want to share with |
| 160s | you and now the two are bearing down |
| 163s | upon the walls of fenri with an army of |
| 165s | the undead will you be able to save |
| 167s | forinthry nay all of misin from zmer |
| 171s | Regal's Undead Army you'll be finding |
| 173s | out in just a few short days in the |
| 174s | meantime I'm delighted to be joined by a |
| 176s | few of the incredible team that made |
| 178s | Battle of fen3 possible so please |
| 180s | welcome mods Shogun and dragon to the |
| 183s | studio what a pleasure it is to have you |
| 186s | both in here so first I'd like to chat |
| 189s | with Mod Dragon who's been instrumental |
| 192s | in bringing our favorite blue boy to |
| 194s | life well like death death life un un |
| 199s | life on life yeah that's good we'll run |
| 202s | with that so how did you go about making |
| 205s | vath what goes into something as |
| 207s | enormous as the boy so |
| 211s | well a lot of a lot of my big projects I |
| 214s | start by collecting a lot of really good |
| 216s | ref so I was looking at actual lizards |
| 220s | um also looking at games that do things |
| 223s | like scales really well like Monster |
| 224s | Hunter uh really good breath from there |
| 227s | and yeah I basically just take a bunch |
| 229s | of breath um I do a lot of like Research |
| 232s | into sort of techniques that other |
| 235s | artists might have used to do certain |
| 236s | things that I haven't done before for |
| 238s | instance I hadn't really done a lot of |
| 240s | scale work this time so I was like okay |
| 243s | how am I going to sort of pack in as |
| 245s | much detail as I can into something |
| 247s | that's not NE necessarily going to be |
| 248s | seen super super up close but you know I |
| 251s | want everyone to be able to see it from |
| 253s | far away I want it to be really I wanted |
| 255s | to be really daunting really sort of |
| 258s | powerful Grand looking um yeah |
| 262s | so um again it was a lot of work between |
| 265s | myself and the |
| 267s | animators um and yeah just seeing what's |
| 270s | possible with uh yeah the rig that we |
| 273s | were using um a lot of feedback loops |
| 277s | for yeah a lot of Bounce sort of |
| 279s | throwing out an idea and then they're |
| 281s | like and then you're like okay we'll go |
| 283s | back and then yeah it's a lot of back |
| 285s | and forth absolutely I also I really I |
| 287s | wanted to put my all into this because |
| 289s | obviously he's a dragon I am a dragon I |
| 292s | I love him very much this is what you're |
| 294s | here for but this is your name's sake |
| 296s | yeah so I yeah I I really wanted this to |
| 299s | be like my big project for the year that |
| 303s | I could be really proud of and that the |
| 305s | players would absolutely love that yeah |
| 308s | everyone would really love to see him in |
| 310s | a fight so um yeah and obviously beloved |
| 314s | U old school yeah absolutely an icon on |
| 317s | the old school side for sure so I mean |
| 319s | obviously we all saw but if you haven't |
| 321s | done ancient Awakening |
| 323s | yet well what are you doing get out go |
| 327s | put us on the second Monitor and go do |
| 328s | it right now it's you can do it um |
| 331s | anyway seeing vath take flight it was |
| 334s | absolutely magnificent so they're going |
| 335s | to be seeing vath up close and personal |
| 337s | in just a few days so while you were |
| 339s | putting together vath was there were |
| 341s | there any details you particularly liked |
| 343s | or that stood out to you the one that I |
| 346s | always look at is the sort of exposed |
| 348s | ribs yeah I was going to say that |
| 350s | actually cuz they're obviously they're |
| 353s | completely transparent and you can see |
| 355s | right through them how did you make that |
| 357s | happen so that was it took me a few |
| 360s | attempts actually with the blockout to |
| 362s | find the best way to do it cuz i' never |
| 363s | actually done something it sounds weird |
| 366s | cuz i' I've worked on skeletons before |
| 368s | but I'd never actually made something |
| 369s | that was sort of part flesh part bone |
| 372s | and that big as well cuz this is the |
| 375s | biggest asset I've worked on um so yeah |
| 379s | it took a bit a bit of time uh like the |
| 383s | most efficient method was not the first |
| 385s | one I chose so I went back and I did it |
| 388s | um it was really I'd say my favorite |
| 391s | part was definitely doing all the |
| 392s | textures because yeah that is my |
| 395s | favorite part you know you've got the |
| 397s | scales you've got the flesh you've got |
| 399s | the bone there's so much so much going |
| 401s | on there's so much Nuance in there it |
| 403s | looks it's just a It's A Feast for the |
| 405s | eyes and so I hope players can |
| 406s | appreciate that when you're absolutely |
| 408s | crushing that poor dragon in the fight |
| 410s | over and over again um but yeah it looks |
| 413s | incredible I am absolutely loving how it |
| 415s | looks um so it's it's just really really |
| 419s | cool |
| 421s | um I was tempted to show off some of the |
| 426s | boy but I thought it's best not to we're |
| 429s | going to we don't want to spoil things |
| 430s | we want everyone to if you're if you're |
| 433s | participating on day one or if you're |
| 435s | watching people who are going to be |
| 436s | participating and streaming themselves |
| 438s | fighting the boy on day one we don't |
| 441s | want to spoil it |
| 442s | because when when you see it all |
| 444s | together it's trust me I'm I'm I've seen |
| 449s | I've seen it you're going to love it so |
| 451s | I've resisted the urge um a lot of |
| 454s | people want spoilers I know I know I'm |
| 457s | sorry I I I want to but I don't want to |
| 461s | because I want you to feel excited when |
| 464s | you do it for the first time um so it's |
| 467s | going to be really cool I'm really |
| 468s | excited there was there was one question |
| 473s | that I've seen a couple of |
| 475s | times four legs oh |
| 478s | yeah oh boy he he grew one back um yeah |
| 484s | this was mainly a this was a technical |
| 486s | issue that we had to we had to deal with |
| 489s | um so it was mainly due to time |
| 492s | constraints and resources but um because |
| 495s | we have some really good already working |
| 497s | uh dragon rigs it would have taken more |
| 500s | time and resource that we didn't |
| 501s | necessarily have to basically like if he |
| 505s | if you imagine someone is missing or |
| 507s | like a dragon for instance we missing |
| 510s | leg um the weight distribution would be |
| 513s | completely different they walk the way |
| 514s | they do it would have looked really |
| 516s | really |
| 518s | weird um so yeah that was the main |
| 521s | reason um I know it has been a big you |
| 523s | know a big like talking point for law |
| 527s | reasons but um yeah it unfortunately was |
| 530s | due to technical constraints and the |
| 533s | time limit that we had but he grew one |
| 536s | back so we should be happy for him good |
| 540s | yeah so the animations that you that are |
| 543s | in there and to be clear I'm not showing |
| 546s | vath you're going to see stuff today you |
| 550s | are going to see gameplay and stuff |
| 552s | today I'm not going to show you the |
| 554s | dragon cuz you've already seen VF and I |
| 557s | don't want to show off I'll explain it |
| 560s | later anyway the animations that are |
| 562s | there are really really cool um a lot of |
| 565s | stuff is is pretty sweet um there's a |
| 568s | specific animation that I really really |
| 569s | like |
| 571s | um there like it's like a landing |
| 573s | animation there's like a stumble it |
| 574s | looks incredible it's so good um and I'm |
| 578s | I'm hoping that people at home when they |
| 580s | get their hands on it enjoy those |
| 581s | animations and and really enjoy all the |
| 584s | detail in them and don't just phase Skip |
| 585s | by doing way too much damage I know what |
| 587s | you're up to pvm players enjoy the |
| 590s | animations um but it it's just been so |
| 593s | cool I I've absolutely loved seeing it |
| 595s | um so it's been just great it's been |
| 599s | great seeing it all come together and |
| 600s | seeing the hype and the community and |
| 601s | everyone getting really hyped up being |
| 602s | like you know when we first alluded to |
| 605s | this back with um was unwelcome guests |
| 607s | oh my God was that that long um when |
| 610s | when we first sort of alluded to it and |
| 611s | everyone was like oh my God oh my God we |
| 613s | vat oh my God the boy and so seeing it |
| 615s | finally come to fruition has been so so |
| 617s | cool um it's been really great so I'm |
| 620s | very very excited it's just going to be |
| 623s | such a cool experience I'm really really |
| 624s | excited and it's been great seeing a lot |
| 628s | of the work going on with you and the |
| 631s | team getting the concepts together and |
| 633s | getting loads of the details right and |
| 634s | and just making it into a reality has |
| 636s | been very very cool it's been amazing so |
| 639s | um I want to thank you very much for |

| 762s | Forin 3 and what we can expect so |
| 765s | obviously we're all legally awaiting the |
| 767s | chance to unite for Glory defend for for |
| 770s | in3 so without spoiling anything uhhuh |
| 772s | what's coming on November 20th are we |
| 774s | getting a |
| 775s | quest and if so how do players get |
| 778s | started well you you you get a quest yes |
| 780s | it's got something to tie everything |
| 782s | together right you re the boss you need |
| 785s | something more so yeah there'll be a |
| 786s | quest coming out |
| 789s | uh basically complete all the four |
| 791s | friends up until now build all the |
| 793s | buildings yes get all the quest done and |
| 796s | get 60 necromancy so it's you need 10 |
| 799s | Slayer for unwelcome guests yep you need |
| 802s | 50 construction for all of for for in 3 |
| 805s | and you need to be 60 necromancy correct |
| 809s | perfect there you go so there's your |
| 810s | requirements you've got a few days to |
| 813s | get yourself ready to rock and ready to |
| 815s | go thank you aana I see you in chat with |
| 816s | the 60 brilliant stuff |
| 820s | so we get a quest that gives that gives |
| 822s | a quest point it do indeed one Quest |
| 825s | Point beautiful stuff so you're going to |
| 826s | need that if you want to keep your quest |
| 827s | Cape so excellent news one step closer |

| 832s | absolutely completing the Battle of for |
| 834s | in3 then unlocks a repeatable boss |
| 836s | battle indeed where should players go |
| 840s | go to get that boss battle started so as |
| 844s | part of the quest we'll have to fight |
| 845s | the boss itself mhm uh it will be done |
| 847s | in story mode as we did with the |
| 851s | Ral once you've done the bits after the |
| 855s | fight you can find a statue inside the |
| 858s | town hall and uh yeah interact with that |
| 861s | one and you can uh set up your fight |
| 863s | lovely you get a everyone everyone's mad |
| 866s | you get one Quest point I'm sorry you're |
| 867s | going to have to sit on 449 which is |
| 869s | even more incentive to hop on whatever |
| 871s | the next Quest is um |
| 873s | so zmer eagle and vath aren't the only |
| 876s | ones attacking for forinthry zmer Eagles |
| 878s | brought an army of the undead for for |
| 880s | inry is under siege yes I think we've |
| 883s | got a little a little |
| 884s | snippet of what it looks like in |
| 890s | action all right well that's that's a |
| 894s | bit of a spoiler that's there's a |
| 895s | spoiler that's not what that's not what |
| 896s | we wanted to show just yet but we'll |
| 899s | show it anyway we're going to have to |
| 901s | show it to you today um but that that's |
| 906s | uh that's a uh armor mentioned in the |
| 910s | little notepad you got yes when you got |
| 912s | your event flyer recently some people |
| 914s | were like hm what's Draco this is Draco |

| 950s | a it doesn't have a face guard one it's |

| 959s | Dr devotion as well there is ah yes it's |
| 963s | a it's a extra blue one there we go wow |

| 979s | is level 75 yes we have a uh level stify |
| 984s | basic armor it's uh like the rest of the |

| 993s | the hides dropped from uh the battle |

| 998s | 75 tank armor will'll be |
| 1002s | given and then uh |
| 1005s | afterwards with more materials from the |
| 1007s | fight you can further enhance it for the |
| 1010s | elite version is say a tier 90 version |
| 1014s | of Drake L fantastic and so tier 92 |
| 1019s | as sorry ti90 that's |
| 1022s | t92 already but yes it's a t92 version |
| 1026s | as well which uh |
| 1028s | requires serenic components to upgrade |
| 1031s | further yes I should clarify these are |
| 1033s | videos we aren't spinning them no it's |
| 1037s | just it's just a nice little video Loop |
| 1039s | you can take a screenshot um so players |
| 1043s | are going to be able to craft three new |
| 1046s | armor sets that's pretty yes that's |
| 1049s | pretty POG if I do say so myself as the |
| 1051s | chat has said multiple times though they |
| 1053s | seem to be a bit worried about something |
| 1055s | uh the normal dra set is going to be |
| 1058s | tank mhm but the elite version and above |
| 1065s | will be uh Power Armor so tier 90 and 92 |
| 1069s | are both power armors yes |
| 1075s | okay so tier 90 and tier 92 are both |
| 1078s | power arms |
| 1080s | so do |
| 1083s | they |
| 1085s | have a set bonus of some sort well we |
| 1088s | need is the if if you say we said T90 |
| 1091s | power armor okay it would be the same as |
| 1093s | serenic right mhm and it would be like |
| 1096s | wouldn't be exciting right so yes we |
| 1099s | have given the drich armor a set effect |
| 1103s | related to you know favorite ability in |
| 1106s | the game rapid fire everyone's favorite |
| 1109s | I I don't know if you have do have do |
| 1111s | you have picture of the set effect on |
| 1113s | screen or no I don't I don't well you |
| 1116s | will love rapid fire with this new set |
| 1118s | effect if you're using a bow that is yes |
| 1122s | so if you're using a bow uh I think it |
| 1125s | off the top of my head this might this |
| 1127s | might be wrong but when you're using |
| 1129s | rapid fire and you have three pieces of |
| 1131s | the set equipped yes you're going to |
| 1134s | get 3 seconds of increased critical hit |
| 1138s | so every hit of Rapid Fire will gain you |
| 1141s | some adrenaline back as well yes so the |
| 1143s | longer you Channel your rapid fire the |
| 1145s | more adrenaline you get back from it yes |
| 1148s | if you fully Channel a rapid fire |
| 1151s | without skipping a single Tech you will |
| 1153s | gain a a buff The Bu boost your crit |
| 1157s | rate chance for a few seconds afterwards |
| 1160s | and the more pieces you wear the longer |
| 1162s | the ration the longer the duration of |
| 1163s | that buff now crossbow fans seething in |
| 1167s | the chats okay yep don't worry so that's |
| 1172s | yeah that's the power armor that's this |
| 1174s | is the new power right and Dr now Dr is |
| 1177s | just better than serenic now right it |
| 1179s | feels a bit unfair you know that's that |
| 1181s | does feel a bit unfair for so s has been |
| 1184s | in game for so long now thought give you |
| 1186s | some love as well so that has also been |
| 1188s | given a set effect alongside and it will |
| 1191s | be attached to anything you you all |
| 1194s | assisting arm will have it so if you |
| 1197s | have serenic already serenic or Elite |
| 1200s | serenic you will have a new set effect |
| 1202s | to you're welcome enjoy that enjoy that |
| 1204s | set bonus so uh that will |
| 1209s | be I assume essentially the same no it |
| 1213s | will be it's a different effect it's uh |
| 1215s | only it's a crossbow specific effect |
| 1218s | okay most like drait was uh B specific |
| 1221s | this is a crossbow specific one where |
| 1225s | you have a chance of uh using uh your |
| 1229s | enh Enchanted bolts even without using |
| 1231s | them so if you have a full set you can |
| 1233s | be using Dragon stone hydrix or on bolts |
| 1237s | y randomly as you shoot along yep so |
| 1241s | it'll whatever you're using those bolts |
| 1244s | will occasionally fire up the set |
| 1247s | effects yes as aana has said if you if |
| 1249s | you want a read of the exact specifics |
| 1253s | they'll be featured in the blog that's |
| 1254s | going live at the end of this stream so |
| 1255s | you'll be able to get your hands on the |
| 1256s | full details um but ranged enjoyers we |
| 1261s | are so back I mean I say we I mean you |
| 1264s | ranged users you are so back enjoy that |
| 1267s | um so that's fantastic I mean that's so |
| 1270s | tier 90 and 92 well 75 90 and 92 for |
| 1274s | boow users and now serenic and Elite |
| 1277s | serenic are going to get set effects yes |
| 1280s | that sounds like an absolutely huge |
| 1282s | hopefully people enjoy at least for |
| 1283s | those fine folks ranged is in fact so |
| 1286s | back um |
| 1290s | so oh very nice I think we might have |

| 1343s | for him to just mindlessly run for your |
| 1346s | walls you guards up there having pretty |
| 1350s | busy time shooting them all down but |
| 1352s | these keep on |
| 1354s | going okay so so there's another one you |
| 1357s | can see that in the background and oh my |
| 1359s | God look at all those Mages this is |
| 1360s | there a few of them this is more |
| 1362s | intimidating than the young Gale combat |
| 1363s | activity but there we go so this is |
| 1365s | going to Loop don't worry at least this |
| 1366s | one's not spinning so you're in luck um |
| 1368s | so during The |
| 1369s | Siege those places of Power are |
| 1373s | impacting yes the the state of the |
| 1376s | battle yes so there's three of them uh |
| 1380s | this is only this is the Western one so |
| 1382s | say there's one to the north one to |
| 1384s | Northwest and one to the west of the |
| 1385s | fort okay I see and they will all be |
| 1388s | sending out waves of Undead minions M to |
| 1392s | do samles bidding now it's quite hard to |
| 1395s | defend a fort if you have limited |
| 1398s | supplies and this endless undeads yeah |
| 1400s | you're you're kind of the under dogs in |
| 1402s | this fight already Yes eventually you |
| 1404s | will be uh like you know War the worlds |
| 1408s | you |
| 1408s | they will eventually form so many bodies |
| 1411s | they will climb the walls and then and |
| 1413s | then they're in right |
| 1416s | so what best do you go out there and try |
| 1418s | to shut them down yeah so each one of |
| 1421s | these is going |
| 1422s | to have an impact on the fight itself |
| 1426s | yes so I know that in story mode in the |
| 1431s | initial in the initial fight players are |
| 1434s | going to |
| 1435s | be escorted and guided to these places |
| 1438s | of power yes you and the Raptor will be |
| 1441s | setting out to try to infiltrate the |
| 1443s | back line so to say to shut down these |
| 1447s | places of power |
| 1449s | to lessen the pressure on the fort and |
| 1452s | eventually when you been shut down all |
| 1455s | three of them you |
| 1457s | will Sam regel won't be too happy with |
| 1459s | you yeah no he's going to be pretty mad |
| 1461s | so he's going to he's going to come down |
| 1462s | pretty hard on you so that's story mode |
| 1464s | but then having these up has has an |
| 1468s | impact on the fight so |
| 1470s | yes I I do want to clarify before people |
| 1473s | start jumping in the chat and dispar |
| 1474s | posting all the doomers in the chat uh |
| 1476s | this is outside of story mode this is |
| 1479s | optional so in the normal mode you will |
| 1483s | be able to go through and cut a sway |
| 1486s | through the undead and head straight for |
| 1488s | Z regle and vath if you want to take the |
| 1489s | fight for them |
| 1492s | and you'll be going straight for them |
| 1495s | but you have to bear in mind that |
| 1497s | without without shutting down places of |
| 1500s | power zmer Eagle will have all of his |
| 1502s | abilities at his disposal yeah and he'll |
| 1504s | have a full arsenal so basically this |
| 1506s | would be all explained in the story mode |
| 1508s | too as well it's a bit of like a |
| 1510s | tutorial as well as story mode if you |
| 1512s | shut down the northern place of power |
| 1515s | simal won't be able to summon minions |
| 1518s | during the fight spoiler for abilities |
| 1521s | um if you shut down the Northwestern one |
| 1526s | another mechanic of SLE will be disabled |
| 1529s | yeah we can find out that one out later |
| 1530s | you you'll find out and the Western one |
| 1532s | is what actually starts to fight so if |
| 1535s | you feel that you're are proficient |
| 1537s | enough in combat you can skip the two uh |
| 1540s | North and Northwestern one and run |
| 1542s | straight for the Western one and shut it |
| 1546s | down Y and then you'll be straight in |
| 1548s | the boss fight and then of course there |
| 1551s | is a hard mode there is a hard mode |
| 1553s | indeed but in hard mode you do not get |
| 1557s | the choice to shut down the places of |
| 1559s | power you are put straight into the |
| 1562s | confrontation with v and zle zle is at |
| 1565s | full power and they hit harder so you'll |
| 1569s | be staring down yeah the nose of an |
| 1572s | undead dragon at full power who's |
| 1574s | already powered up and with the full |
| 1577s | move set so normal mode gives you a |
| 1579s | little bit more agency into what you do |
| 1581s | but then hard mode is you get no choice |
| 1584s | this is the full fight so yeah as with |
| 1587s | Samurai it's you straightened to fight |
| 1589s | there's no way you don't have to do the |
| 1591s | SI beforehand yeah it's just |
| 1592s | straightening to fight that's awesome |
