| 20s | there's a lot going on so for all of my |
| 23s | space bar annihilators out there and my |
| 25s | lost lore hounds here is the elder god |
| 27s | wars saga tldr too long didn't read |
| 30s | first let's start with the elder gods |
| 32s | the elder gods created everything in the |
| 34s | universe as we know it today and they're |
| 36s | the main antagonist of this storyline |
| 38s | now the elder gods do this thing called |
| 40s | the great revision essentially what they |
| 42s | do is they come into the universe they |
| 44s | create all of the life which makes them |
| 46s | tired so they go into a slumber but |
| 48s | while they're in their slumber they |
| 50s | plant their eggs inside the planet with |
| 51s | the most life now everything in the |
| 53s | universe has anima it's anima mundi it's |
| 56s | the energy life force of the universe |
| 58s | now these eggs that they plant inside |
| 60s | the planet they plant it inside the |
| 62s | planet |
| 64s | i apologize but anyway inside the planet |
| 67s | they siphon all of the enema from the |
| 69s | living creatures on that planet and they |
| 71s | grow they recharge now this is where the |
| 73s | story gets a bit juicy see the elder |
| 75s | gods wake up and they touch the egg they |
| 77s | implant their memories in it it's kind |
| 79s | of like reincarnation now when the eggs |
| 81s | hatch the elder gods eat everything in |
| 84s | the universe |
| 85s | oh |
| 87s | and guess what the next great revision |
| 89s | is happening right now which leads us to |
| 91s | the new quest coming out extinction and |
| 94s | i'm gonna tell you the story of how we |
| 95s | got there now i'm gonna have to assume |
| 97s | that you guys know a little bit of the |
| 98s | law up until the elder god wars saga so |
| 100s | we start at the end of slickey's end |
| 102s | game zaros and saren have gone to speak |
| 105s | to jazz and they've asked about zaros |
| 107s | becoming an elder god now unfortunately |
| 110s | zaros got declined here jasper basically |
| 112s | just shut him up and said no but then |
| 114s | jazz pulled us aside and said hey world |
| 116s | guardian come over here i've got |
| 117s | something to tell you obviously not like |
| 119s | that because it's freaking god anyway |
| 122s | she says |
| 123s | you can stop this from happening if you |
| 125s | can appease us and she just left it at |
| 127s | that real cryptic |
| 128s | so that leads us to the event of |
| 130s | desperate times seren goes and gathers |
| 133s | all of the best and brightest gilanor |
| 134s | has to offer and they come up with the |
| 136s | plan of appeasing bick with a garden |
| 139s | look big sinter gardens and i get that |
| 141s | but i think there's something we could |
| 143s | be doing a little bit more productive |
| 144s | than building a garden |
| 146s | obviously this lady is a bit stupid and |
| 148s | kerapak appears to save the day that was |
| 151s | sarcasm anyway karabakh appears after |
| 153s | freeing himself from the stone of jazz |
| 155s | using the mirror in celisco's endgame |
| 157s | and he says hey why don't we use an |
| 159s | elder artifact that's a great idea they |
| 161s | used one on me let's use one on them i |
| 164s | mean i can't argue with his reasoning |
| 165s | he's got a point so the plan is to use |
| 167s | the needle which is another elder |
| 169s | artifact that we encounter in the needle |
| 171s | skips to essentially put the elder gods |
| 174s | to sleep because if they're asleep well |
| 176s | they can't touch their eggs right so we |
| 178s | get to the needle and it turns out we |
| 179s | need a special necklace that can |
| 181s | activate the needle for us and this can |
| 183s | only come from the one and only karos |
| 186s | however the thing is with karos is that |
| 188s | he likes to keep his identity hidden so |
| 190s | after a line of puzzles we eventually |
| 192s | find out that roaldo from the varrock |
| 194s | library is none other than carols |
| 196s | himself freaking epic reveal i honestly |
| 199s | my jaw hit the ground |
| 200s | anyway he ends up making us the necklace |
| 202s | and we're able to go into the needle |
| 204s | after going through a series of chambers |
| 206s | such as gothic's where he died spoiler |
| 208s | to the citadel in the sky that sliskey |
| 210s | was at and finally out into the |
| 212s | dragonkin laboratory we are then able to |
| 215s | take control of the needle |
| 218s | uh jim you don't sound too happy about |
| 220s | that well the planet kind of failed |
| 223s | because keropak ended up turning on us |
| 226s | stabbing the needle with the staff of |
| 228s | armadill and flying off east yep saren's |
| 232s | gonna be |
| 234s | so um yeah we uh back to square one |
| 237s | that garden idea is starting to look |
| 239s | pretty damn good you know what they say |
| 241s | right desperate times call for desperate |
| 243s | measures this is where the story shifts |
| 245s | from us trying to stop the elder gods to |
| 248s | trying to stop keropak you see |
| 250s | karabakh's plan is to use the device |
| 252s | that he created a long time ago on |
| 254s | anachronia when it was previously known |
| 256s | as orphan this is the same device that |
| 258s | got him banished and cursed the stone of |
| 260s | jazz in the first place however this |
| 262s | machine is able to create shadow enema |
| 265s | where anima mundi is the life force of |
| 268s | the universe shadow enema is the |
| 270s | opposite it takes life from the universe |
| 272s | and that includes the elder gods so when |
| 275s | he activates the device it will suck all |
| 277s | of the life from the planet then killing |
| 279s | the eggs and the elder gods as well as |
| 281s | everyone else on gilinor but saving the |
| 283s | universe so it is a righteous sacrifice |
| 286s | play but i kinda wanna live and so does |
| 289s | everyone else we're greedy like that |
| 291s | it's gyllenol it's here where the term |
| 294s | the enemy of my enemy is my friend is |
| 296s | used because we use the council with |
| 299s | saren to get a hold of jazz and say jazz |
| 301s | can you help us out with this keropak |
| 303s | situation if you die we die so we're |
| 306s | gonna have to work together on this one |
| 307s | jazz agrees and suggests that she can't |
| 309s | directly intervene because of the shadow |
| 311s | anima but she can give us an elder |
| 313s | artifact which is the eye of jazz she |
| 316s | says if we can get close enough to the |
| 317s | needle and kara pack this i should |
| 319s | separate them long enough for jazz to |
| 321s | take control |
| 322s | with the eye of jazz we went to |
| 324s | anachronia however this was a new |
| 326s | version brought forward in time by |
| 327s | kerapak where karos then presented the |
| 330s | measure i guess that's why it's called |
| 331s | desperate measures also while on this |
| 333s | quest hannibas lets us see the memories |
| 335s | of the dragonkin that inhabited |
| 337s | energonia a long time ago and what led |
| 339s | to them being bound to the stoner jazz |
| 341s | once we entered the lab we shut down the |
| 343s | device and we also killed the guardian |
| 345s | which was the blackstone dragon this led |
| 347s | to karapak confronting us where we used |
| 349s | the eye of jazz to take over control of |
| 351s | the needle this also meant that jazz was |
| 354s | in control of the node on dragonkin who |
| 356s | were asleep in their pods so now jazz |
| 358s | had an army keropak plead for us to end |
| 361s | his life however jazz enslaved him to |
| 364s | her servitude once again a fate worse |
| 366s | than death and as that conversation |
| 368s | ended the laboratory started shaking |
| 370s | uncontrollably and things were falling |
| 372s | apart everywhere because the elder god |
| 374s | full had finally awakened due to the |
| 376s | shadow enema seeping from the device |
| 378s | full emerged from the volcano destroying |
| 380s | the laboratory and announcing the start |
| 382s | of the elder god wars |
| 384s | due to keropak's device being active |
| 387s | this led to the awakening of raksha the |
| 389s | shadow colossus now raksha is a very |
| 392s | special specimen raksha was originally a |
| 394s | dinosaur that was existent a long time |
| 397s | ago but then was changed and altered by |
| 399s | the codex the monolith the same thing |
| 402s | that is at the archaeology guild that is |
| 404s | an elder artifact after finding rash's |
| 407s | tomb we enter inside and zaros appears |
| 409s | out of nowhere to take a vat of shadow |
| 411s | edema now this disturbance wakes up |
| 414s | raksha and we have to subdue him |
| 416s | after seeing how the elder gods reacted |
| 418s | to keropak's device zaros now knows that |
| 421s | the elder gods have a weakness so he |
| 422s | takes it with him as protection |
| 425s | with the release of archaeology also |
| 427s | came the discovery of karadet a |
| 428s | zaroshian prison after uncovering the |
| 431s | mystery inside the world guardian found |
| 433s | tryndane a forgotten zaroshi and majorat |
| 436s | upon meeting her for the first time she |
| 437s | describes us as having a shadow similar |
| 440s | to sliskey or the master of shadows with |
| 443s | trinine three as in azura another |
| 444s | zaroshi and mars right gives us the task |
| 446s | of finding the elder god eggs he has a |
| 449s | suspicion that these are the true threat |
| 451s | to gilenore and not the elder gods |
| 453s | themselves he believes that when the |
| 455s | young elder gods hatch they will then |
| 457s | consume everything that's on the planet |
| 459s | thus destroying the whole universe |
| 461s | so we head out the friendsgate with our |
| 463s | buddy old power as an address and we |
| 465s | look for the elder now frenesque |
| 467s | is the planet that was like gyllenhaal |
| 469s | but for the last revision after finding |
| 471s | the elder halls we are then followed by |
| 473s | ariane who then says that she can read |
| 475s | the memories of past so after ariane |
| 477s | reads the memory she does confirm that |
| 479s | the true threat to gilano is these eggs |
| 482s | and we need to find them on our home |
| 483s | planet gyllenhaal the crown on |
| 485s | saradomin's head is also called the |
| 487s | locator it's an elder artifact that can |
| 489s | locate divine energy basically so we go |
| 492s | to ark's thyroid if we can use it he |
| 494s | said that he's already tried to use it |
| 495s | to locate the elder eggs and it failed |
| 498s | however we just don't think he's using |
| 500s | it the right way so trinidad and the |
| 502s | world guardian go off on an adventure to |
| 504s | try and sneak into places to get |
| 506s | information on the crown now everywhere |
| 508s | we go we do have to vouch for tryndine |
| 510s | because she's a zorosian and there's a |
| 512s | reason for that return to azer to tell |
| 515s | him what happened but ariane is knocked |
| 516s | out on the ground when she comes to she |
| 519s | informs us that she knows where the |
| 520s | elder eggs are kept on gilano and it's |
| 522s | in the heart of gyllenhaal that makes |
| 524s | sense as we reach the heart of illinois |
| 526s | it is blocked by hellwea and saren's |
| 528s | elves now out of nowhere gregoriovic |
| 531s | comes to save the day and distracts |
| 532s | helwy for us and while doing that calls |
| 535s | us master now grigorific's master is |
| 538s | slick gay so this is the second time |
| 540s | someone has called us sliskey by |
| 542s | accident with hellwee out of the way we |
| 544s | were now free to enter the elder halls |
| 546s | and inside was in fact the new elder god |
| 548s | eggs as an address to go and inform |
| 551s | zaros what had happened but then the |
| 552s | voices in her head says that maybe |
| 554s | trinidad wasn't telling us the whole |
| 556s | truth and that's because |
| 558s | we were betrayed once again just like |
| 561s | carrot pack we were betrayed again by |
| 564s | this time trinidad and azeroth because |
| 566s | they were working for zaros and zaras |
| 567s | didn't want to let us know on this plan |
| 569s | because he has ulterior motives for the |
| 571s | crown so we have to rush back to sarah |
| 574s | dominion and inform him but they beat us |
| 577s | there and it turns out that the white |
| 579s | knights and temple knights some of them |
| 581s | not all of them were actually undercover |
| 583s | zerotians that's insane zarus then |
| 586s | appears to take the crown from saradomin |
| 588s | saying that he is the true owner of the |
| 590s | crown and basically snaps his finger and |
| 592s | takes it away from him that is some |
| 595s | crazy just energy right there just to |
| 597s | snap your fingers and do that to sarah |
| 599s | doman wow |
| 601s | we returned to karadat to confront |
| 602s | azenandra and we're like mate what |
| 604s | happened i thought we were bffs forever |
| 607s | and as an address like listen my boss |
| 609s | says that i've got to do this so it is |
| 611s | what it is please don't have a grudge |
| 612s | against me and at the battle of the |
| 614s | monolith we're going to be enemies so |
| 616s | don't take it the heart over the weeks |
| 618s | the battle rages on with the white |
| 620s | knights temple knights the zorosians the |
| 622s | taka all getting involved in the |
| 624s | conflict that is until zaros appears to |
| 626s | end the fighting and take over the |
| 628s | monolith himself saren also appears to |
| 630s | confront zaros but ultimately lets him |
| 632s | use his plan this is where things go |
| 635s | absolutely crazy is that zaros activates |
| 637s | the monolith and it turns into a |
| 639s | freaking portal and look i'm not exactly |
| 642s | sure where that thing goes but we got a |
| 644s | shard of erebus so i'm going to assume |
| 646s | erebus which is supposedly the zaroshan |
| 649s | afterlife as zaros goes inside he says |
| 652s | that he's going to look for others like |
| 654s | the elder god but of something else he |
| 656s | instructs azenadra to lead the army |
| 658s | while he's in his absence as zaros goes |
| 660s | through the portal some shadow creatures |
| 662s | start coming out of it and the conflict |
| 665s | turns from everyone fighting against |
| 666s | each other to with each other to rid |
| 668s | themselves of these weird shadow |
| 670s | creatures |
| 671s | and because zaros has now left this |
| 674s | plane of existence to go to erebus it |
| 676s | means that his compulsion over azanandra |
| 679s | has faded which means that azero now has |
| 681s | free will for the first time to make his |
| 683s | own decisions and what does he do with |
| 685s | that decision he decides to make the |
| 687s | freaking sacrifice play he decides to |
| 690s | close the monolith alone using his own |
| 692s | shadow powers and ultimately this |
| 694s | transforms him and unlocks his inner |
| 697s | deity to ascend to godhood and become |
| 699s | pontific's maximus the god damn that's a |
| 702s | cool name due to the shadow anima that |
| 704s | came out of the monolith the eggs were |
| 706s | now overloaded and we needed to drain |
| 708s | them somehow |
| 709s | while in the elder halls as an address |
| 712s | and he wants to make amends for |
| 713s | betraying us earlier he suggests that we |
| 715s | can steal the eggs and hide them in an |
| 717s | old city called centerstone which lucky |
| 719s | for us the archaeologists have been busy |
| 722s | at work while we've been fighting each |
| 723s | other because they found it but before |
| 725s | we move the eggs we need to set the city |
| 727s | up although we've found a place to hide |
| 729s | their eggs we still needed to drain them |
| 731s | off their energy for this we asked the |
| 733s | gods after some tense negotiations we |
| 735s | finally got sarah dominion armadill |
| 737s | zemerak and sarah to help us drain the |
| 739s | eggs we also asked ichlerin but he said |
| 741s | that he would never help the serotions |
| 743s | after what they've done there's a lot of |
| 745s | bad blood i mean even the fate of the |
| 747s | entire universe ending and he can't put |
| 750s | that to the side but he did say he would |
| 751s | help in other ways and go looking in the |
| 753s | underworld so with as an adro we head to |
| 755s | the city of centerstone and we start |
| 757s | uncovering the city he informs us that |
| 758s | this city was one of the last remaining |
| 760s | strongholds during the second age war |
| 762s | and that this city has its own defense |
| 764s | system a magical barrier that we have to |
| 766s | activate he goes on to explain that the |
| 768s | ancient magics that they use actually |
| 770s | comes from somewhere else and probably |
| 772s | uses shadow anima rather than regular |
| 774s | anima to use because of this reason the |
| 777s | barrier should stop the elder gods |
| 778s | themselves from attacking forcing them |
| 780s | to send in their own armies one by one |
| 782s | as each of the wards go up each god then |
| 784s | teleports to the citadel ready to drain |
| 786s | the eggs with the defenses in place |
| 788s | karapak appears as a mouthpiece for jazz |
| 790s | saying that the attack is about to begin |
| 793s | the first front of the god wars is the |
| 795s | node in front now the nodens were |
| 797s | dragging kins that slept through the |
| 799s | curse in order to avoid the pain however |
| 801s | they were tied to the needles so now |
| 802s | they're awakened and their jazz's army |
| 804s | the general for this army is none other |
| 806s | than keropak himself wielding the staff |
| 808s | of armadill and connected to the needle |
| 810s | after holding out the fight against |
| 812s | karapak and the node in front when then |
| 814s | sends in the arc glacials with the help |
| 817s | of azero we were able to put down the |
| 819s | arc glacials and hold them back which |
| 821s | led to the third front which was led by |
| 823s | big bick managed to find a long thought |
| 825s | extinct plant that was buried deep under |
| 827s | the city of centerstone she brought it |
| 829s | back to life and unlike the other |
| 830s | generals this one here took a bunch of |
| 833s | people working together to take down |
| 835s | with all three sides defended full |
| 837s | finally entered the battle with her |
| 838s | champion zuk now zuk had gone toe to toe |
| 841s | with bandos in the past meaning that |
| 843s | this was by far the most challenging |
| 844s | battle for the world guardian to date |
| 846s | after taking care of the generals a |
| 848s | massive earthquake then struck gilinor |
| 850s | over in alcaret where the jewel arena |
| 853s | previously was now stood het's oasis and |
| 855s | as i mentioned before ichlerin went to |
| 858s | go find his own way to save the universe |
| 860s | he believes there is a long hidden |
| 862s | ancient item here called the eye of het |
| 864s | he asks us to help clear the debris for |
| 866s | the civilians and then look for the eye |
| 868s | of het inside the tomb however after |
| 870s | taking down the security for the tomb |
| 872s | we've noticed that someone has been here |
| 873s | previously and tried to take the eye but |
| 876s | failed after obtaining the if hat |
| 877s | ichthyrin goes on to explain that this |
| 879s | device can then bring back willing souls |
| 882s | from the dead essentially giving you an |
| 883s | immortal army we then go and investigate |
| 886s | what actually caused the earthquake in |
| 888s | the first place and who was snooping |
| 889s | around after talking to a stranger who |
| 891s | says that the aviances were seen flying |
| 893s | over thus leading to armadill we |
| 896s | actually look inside a chest and find |
| 897s | the note that's written in zarossian |
| 899s | after taking the note to azan adra he |
| 901s | says that it looks like trinidan's |
| 903s | writing but it looks like someone trying |
| 904s | to fake trinidan's writing we question |
| 907s | all of the gods about their motives and |
| 908s | then eventually trindine appears who |
| 910s | lures us over to a corner so that we can |
| 912s | talk alone once again she comments on |
| 914s | our shadow saying that it's like an aura |
| 916s | and it's very reminiscent of swiss gay |
| 918s | so that is now three swiss gay |
| 920s | references she goes on to say hey |
| 922s | remember that i tricked you in the past |
| 923s | i don't leave loose ends laying around |
| 925s | so it clearly wasn't me after hearing |
| 927s | all of the god's pleas we then make our |
| 929s | accusation and no matter who you choose |
| 931s | it ultimately ends up being zamorak he |
| 933s | explains that saren was trying to use |
| 935s | the eye of het to force them to stay |
| 937s | there forever basically in a groundhog |
| 939s | day situation where they live they die |
| 942s | they live they die and they repeat the |
| 943s | same day over and over again for |
| 945s | eternity which ultimately zamarak says i |
| 947s | would rather die than to do that forever |
| 949s | sarah admits that this was her plan the |
| 951s | whole time and then zamorak takes the |
| 953s | eye of het he breaks it and then he |
| 955s | disappears with only saren armadill and |
| 958s | saradomin left there is not enough gods |
| 960s | to drain the egg's energy igthrone once |
| 962s | again won't help the zorosians and he |
| 964s | says that he's going to return to the |
| 965s | underworld to say his final goodbyes and |
| 967s | prepare for the end this just leaves |
| 969s | armadill saradomin and saren as an |
| 972s | address can't help drain the eggs |
| 973s | because he's busy on the glacier front |
| 975s | and with that we are up to extinction |
| 977s | now i can't tell you guys what |
| 978s | extinction is because it's not even out |
| 980s | yet at the time i'm recording this but i |
| 982s | am super excited to play it if you guys |
| 984s | are super excited to play it let me know |

| 987s | theory that this might involve zaro |
| 988s | city's little player in the monolith i |
| 990s | think that's where we're heading with |
| 991s | this because we have no other plan other |
| 994s | than to just sit there and basically |
| 995s | wait for the elder gods at this stage |
