[2020] I crash when I use the "Wire Tool"

I don't know why, but whenever I use the Wire Tool for the first time, my game crashes. This started maybe a week ago.

I have an even better PC than my friend, but I still crash whenever I try, but he doesn't.

Does anybody know a fix for this?

(My game fully crashes, not just freeze.)
