| 25s | structure that we're introducing in this |
| 27s | update and I'll talk a little bit more |
| 29s | about that later so here we go so this |
| 31s | video is gonna be all about the patch |
| 32s | that's coming out on XP rental today |
| 34s | it's gonna contain some goodies and some |
| 36s | bug fixes but before you run off and try |
| 39s | it out there's some very important |
| 40s | information regarding save files so make |
| 42s | sure to stick around for the whole |
| 43s | duration of the video to learn more |
| 44s | about that I also urge you to backup |
| 46s | your saves your save files are located |
| 49s | in this directory you can also find it |
| 52s | in the description in the update we're |
| 54s | added a few bug fixes for trains most |
| 56s | notably we've updated the AI for better |
| 58s | break prediction and better reliability |
| 59s | so now trains shouldn't like speed pass |
| 62s | stations anymore we've also added a fix |
| 64s | for the issue where trains would get |
| 66s | split up at switches so now if that |
| 68s | happens the train should like reposition |
| 70s | back together again and I should |
| 72s | probably point out that this is somewhat |
| 74s | of a temporary solution until we have |
| 76s | proper collisions and proper signal |
| 79s | assistance for trains in the game we've |
| 80s | also added so that you can now ride the |
| 82s | train as the AI is driving it we've also |
| 85s | added a feature so you can mass as |
| 86s | mental buildings so if you want to wipe |
| 88s | your whole factory it should be a bill |
| 90s | to quicker this was a feature that I |
| 93s | worked on a few weeks back on my dev |
| 95s | stream and it's gonna be red I'm can't |
| 99s | wait to hear what you guys think about |
| 100s | it alright so let's talk about safe |
| 102s | files and make sure to take notes |
| 103s | because this is all gonna be on the test |
| 104s | so in the next patch we're introducing |
| 106s | cloud safe so satisfactory on the epics |

| 109s | big bro team Sweeney got us hooked up |
| 111s | but in order for us to support cloud |
| 112s | safe so we've had to make a few |
| 114s | adjustments to our current safe |
| 116s | structure of the game so let me first |
| 117s | point out that as a whole the safe |
| 119s | system will work pretty much the same |
| 121s | way as before you can still like grab |
| 123s | your safe files and save directory and |
| 125s | like share them with your friends so |
| 126s | throw them out the window what are you |
| 128s | going to do with them the only |
| 129s | difference now |
| 130s | that save files will be placed in sub |
| 132s | directories instead and those sub |
| 134s | directors will be synced via the epic |
| 138s | games launcher so essentially when |
| 140s | you're playing the game and you're |
| 141s | saving that save file will be placed in |
| 144s | a directory that's associated with your |
| 146s | epic account so immediately not all your |
| 149s | safe files will be converted into this |
| 151s | new safe structure and cloud synced and |
| 153s | that's because up until this point we |
| 155s | haven't compressed our save files and |
| 157s | what that means is that the save files |
| 159s | can get quite large and that's not |
| 161s | optimal if you want to cloud sync them |
| 162s | and in order to do that you need to load |
| 164s | up your safe file and then we save it |
| 167s | for it to be able to like be converted |
| 169s | moved into the epic account folder and |
| 171s | then it can be cloud sinks and all the |
| 173s | files that haven't been associated with |
| 175s | an epic account ID yet will be placed in |
| 178s | a fuller called common in the same |
| 179s | directory and they'll be placed there |
| 182s | until you load them up in game and then |
| 185s | we save them again are the new safe |
| 187s | files supported in an older version of |
| 189s | the game no new so once you switch |
| 194s | version you can't load them in an old |
| 196s | version anymore so if you do switch to |
| 198s | experimental we highly recommend that |
| 201s | you stay on that version and if you |
| 203s | still want to be able to switch back to |
| 205s | an older version then you have to backup |
| 207s | your saves so what I need to do so you |
| 211s | shouldn't really need to do anything out |
| 212s | of the ordinary |
| 213s | you can still load up and save the game |
| 215s | as usual and everything should be dandy |
| 218s | can I disable cloud saves yes so in the |
| 221s | epics games launcher there'll be an |
| 223s | option there's like a little cog wheel |
| 226s | and then you press it and there's like a |
| 227s | drop-down list or something and in that |
| 229s | list there will be like an option for |
| 230s | you to be able to disable cloud safes |
| 232s | should I back up my saves before trying |
| 234s | experimental yeah what happens if I play |
| 237s | offline so if you play offline as in not |
| 240s | through the epics game structure then |
| 241s | the save files will either be placed in |
| 244s | the common folder or in the folder that |
| 246s | was last associated with your last login |
| 249s | the game I don't see some of my safe |
| 251s | Falls in the game so since a Falls are |
| 253s | now associated with your epic account ID |
| 256s | you will only be able to see safe files |
| 258s | that are associated with set account so |
| 261s | if you played on another account on the |
| 263s | same computer you need to either log |
| 265s | back into that account or move the safe |
| 267s | file to the folder corresponding to that |
| 270s | epic game epic account that you want to |
| 272s | be on why am I seeing duplicates of my |
| 274s | safe files so this might happen if you |
| 277s | switch between versions of the game the |
| 280s | duplicates that you're seeing is a |
| 282s | result from like mismatch of folder |
| 285s | structures during the migration of the |
| 287s | safe files when we're doing the |
| 288s | migration we don't want to overwrite |
| 289s | anything which means that if there's |
| 293s | already like a file with the same name |
| 294s | we're trying to do the migration we'll |
| 296s | kind of leave it alone so what that |
| 298s | means is that if this happens you might |
| 301s | need to do some cleanup yourself but if |
| 303s | you don't switch versions between the |
| 304s | game this should trademark not be a |
| 306s | problem all right so that's a lot of |
