Whenever I play a game that is in the Survival Builder Genre, I always feel like the world that I am dismantling to build my home and contraptions is always just a shell. I feel that it is there simply to be a backdrop so that I have something pretty to look at.

Satisfactory has yet to make me feel that way. When I look into the distance, I see the far-off mountains and the almost rib-like structures that jut from their sides. When I look across the green fields, I see the glow of the power slugs and I think to myself, "GOTTA GIT ME THAT THERE SLUG FOR THE SHARDS" but then after I collect them, I continue to explore and search for more which takes me further away to new sights that I may not have seen.

The most impressive thing about this world, without any question, is the history of the planet told through its environment and the creatures that live in it. The planet we are exploiting was once a water-world, evident by the smooth sand found in multiple areas, and the abundance of creatures that would seem to be more at home underwater, bearing fins or feet that come to a point, than on land.

Thank you Coffee Stain Games, for putting a great deal of thought into the world we will be automating in. I love exploring this world and I can't wait to see what comes next.
