To contribute to the Treaters’ Goal: bury treasure, place treasure maps on the Quest Board or discover items buried by other players. As a bonus, if your first contribution is to the side that hits its Community Goal first, you’ll earn an exclusive Title too! However, your first contribution must be made before a Community Goal is reached to be eligible for the Title. No hedging your bets!

@cptAmbrossa You can earn both hats, if the goals are reached and you contribute enough to both sides. The Title will only be awarded to those that make their first contribution to the side that hits its goal first, before either goal is reached.
