Hello,

If your game is showing "SecondExtinction_F has stopped working", then you will likely find the solution to your problem here - https://support.secondextinctiongame.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360016921920-Game-is-crashing-or-won-t-load.

Please try all steps to see if it resolves your problem. If it does not, then following step 11 you can contact support and we'll help you on on one to get it working for you. :)

Depends on the crash message. You can post it here, it might be clear enough! But best bet is to reach out to fatshark.se/support - they're pretty quick to get back to you - just be sure to provide as much info as you can, such as the information seen when failing to launch, be it a windows error box dialogue or a crash GUID provided by our launcher.

currently updating my GPU drives, lets see if it works

Edit: it still crashes

Edit: somehow solved the problem

Looked like your game was trying to boot up using integrated/onboard graphics. I'm going out on a limb to assume the game now sees your discrete graphics card and is working fine :)

what do you mean with integrated/onboard graphics? Im not that much of a tech person

Some CPUs/Processors have 'graphics capabilities' integrated in to them, fine for stuff that's not graphically intense like working on documents or browsing the web etc, not so good for 3D games (nor some 2D games for that matter).

The game looked to be trying to use the one in your intel CPU to run the game, which just wont meet the minimum spec. Since you solved it, it's likely the game now sees your dedicated graphics card.

why didnt my game go straight to my graphics card instaed of my intel core i5?

I couldn't say. There's lots of reasons it could happen. Sometimes it's because the monitor is plugged in to the motherboard video output, rather than the GPU. Could be borky drivers or a misconfiguration somewhere in the AMD/Nvidia control panels.

I can’t look up this crash unfortunately, are you able to supply another crash report please?
