| 647s | friends that we want to bring together |

| 653s | promise you and guarantee you they will |

| 818s | pen um I've been streaming for a couple |
| 821s | years and uh it turned from variety |
| 824s | streaming to just sky sky and sometimes |
| 827s | genin but Sky mostly and uh yeah I'm |
| 830s | just here to have fun and hang out and |
| 833s | um you know cool and I'm very |
| 835s | embarrassed that Tio's been watching me |
| 837s | the whole time that's it that's all I |
| 838s | got lurking lurking with that said folks |
| 842s | let's just take a look at a little bit |
| 844s | of what Josh offers right Josh believes |
| 846s | the storytelling matters as much as |
| 849s | gameplay mechanics do as he said he's a |
| 852s | variety streamer but right now honestly |
| 854s | it's mostly sky so if you guys are sky |
| 857s | fans are looking to have more sky |
| 860s | content even when you're not playing |
| 861s | it's a really good place to go and this |
| 863s | is a little quote from him even if we |
| 866s | don't share the same views we play sky |
| 868s | and because we do we share at least one |
| 872s | thing so Josh uh how important it is for |
| 876s | you |
| 877s | to connect with your people and to have |
| 880s | that one thing in common with your |
| 882s | community I think that once I found sky |
| 887s | and it was introduced to me by one of my |
| 888s | viewers it was I haven't stopped playing |
| 891s | it and I think I've heard similar |
| 893s | stories with everyone else that's played |
| 895s | sky and uh being able to kind of like |
| 897s | bring like the community that I was |
| 899s | creating and know that they played a |
| 901s | game and then getting to know other |
| 903s | people and it's just been continually |
| 905s | getting to know more and more people |
| 906s | it's just been really really fun and |
| 908s | silly and cozy and something that I |
| 913s | didn't know I needed at the time so I'm |
| 915s | really grateful for everyone in the sky |
| 920s | Community just a couple of hundred |

| 985s | standards right some of us do have uh |
| 989s | ulty in making friends and Ivy is here |

| 1038s | imaginative and kind and it it brings us |

| 1165s | uh zask uses sky as a relief from social |
| 1169s | anxiety sky has become a home and a |
| 1172s | place to belong and as she says be kind |
| 1175s | to your fellow sky kids and always offer |
| 1178s | help which is something uh ZK that I |
| 1181s | very much agree on right it's Sky the |
| 1186s | whole concept of the game is is |
| 1189s | returning to the Realms and being able |
| 1191s | to offer that helping hand right uh have |
| 1195s | you had any meaningful or interesting |
| 1198s | moment in sky that you needed help or |
| 1201s | that you were able to offer help to |
| 1202s | somebody who was brand new can you share |
| 1204s | a little bit of the experience with us |
| 1207s | yeah so one of my favorite moments is |
| 1209s | helping anyone with the assembly quests |
| 1212s | assembly is one of my favorite Seasons |
| 1215s | just because it brought everyone |
| 1217s | together but with every season passing |
| 1221s | it gets harder and harder to actually |
| 1225s | help people finish the quests because no |
| 1228s | one really things around there anymore |
| 1230s | so I think it's really important to help |
| 1234s | everyone even in small cases like |
| 1237s | especially with the doors and |
| 1239s | everything |
| 1241s | so I'm not sure to be honest I think any |
| 1245s | little help is very precious and say no |
| 1248s | more because when you mention assemblies |
| 1250s | I need a help with assemblies Forever |
| 1253s | Forever Until one day after I started |
| 1256s | working at TGC I came to my dear shfm |

| 1267s | assembl and I cannot have enough people |

| 1276s | beautiful and bonding moment and I very |
| 1279s | much appreciated that and you're right |
| 1282s | opening those doors just having those |
| 1284s | tiny little secrets I remember uh going |
| 1287s | to the butter fields and needing a bunch |
| 1289s | of people to be able to summon uh |
| 1292s | somebody really special at at the |
| 1295s | butterfly fields and I honestly didn't |
| 1298s | know uh one of my friends just said |
| 1300s | don't worry about this it's just |
| 1301s | something that's going to appear but |
| 1303s | it's not going to help you progress the |
| 1304s | game but I don't care I want to see it |
| 1307s | and we were able to collect a bunch of |
| 1309s | folks to help me summon sad thing and I |
| 1312s | had a blast it was awesome it was |
| 1316s | amazing and overall guys guys thank you |

| 1596s | little story um Sky when when Sky |
| 1600s | started for me I was a variety streamer |
| 1604s | on Twitch that's what I'd like to say I |
| 1605s | used to say hi I'm Joshua the pen I'm |
| 1606s | VAR streamer here on Twitch that's what |
| 1608s | I would say every time I would get rated |
| 1610s | and uh at the time I was looking for |
| 1612s | just like Community Based games um every |
| 1615s | Friday when I would stream on Fridays I |
| 1617s | would say hey you know we're going to |
| 1619s | put everyone's uh names into and I'm |
| 1623s | going to mess this up I know I did uh |
| 1625s | but I'm going to put everyone's names |
| 1626s | into a thing we're going to do a random |
| 1627s | number generator and whoever's number I |
| 1630s | draw gets to pick the game that I that I |
| 1634s | play uh there was one special viewer |
| 1637s | that was there that said you know hey |
| 1640s | that one and I don't know if they're |
| 1642s | here right now in chat but they are but |
| 1643s | shout out to Brooke um because without |
| 1646s | Brooke I oh and there goes the Dragon |
| 1648s | train without Brooke I wouldn't have |
| 1652s | actually started playing sky and when I |
| 1656s | did and the very first thing and there's |
| 1659s | still Clips on my channel that you can |
| 1660s | find I was really excited because I got |
| 1663s | to hug viewers you know and I got to |
| 1666s | hold hands for viewers and there's clips |
| 1668s | of me just being |
| 1671s | like and um it was just me just hyping |
| 1675s | over the fact that I could hold hands |
| 1677s | and I had been going through it at the |
| 1680s | time actually um and I didn't really |
| 1684s | have too many friends like |
| 1686s | IRL and streaming for me was that and so |
| 1689s | when I got to do sky and I got to give |
| 1691s | hugs and hold hands and explore world |
| 1695s | that has like story without |
| 1697s | story um it really |
| 1702s | I became emotionally connected in a game |
| 1705s | that I have not been you know that only |
| 1708s | get emotionally connected with a like a |
| 1711s | V with a movie or something else and you |
| 1713s | know Sky did that for me and um my very |
| 1717s | very first like Eden run I |
| 1720s | remember just |
| 1722s | sobbing because I was like my wing |
| 1726s | lights no they're |
| 1728s | gone um B step from having the |
| 1731s | experience and then choosing to share |
| 1733s | that with other people right yeah it it |
| 1735s | was a big experience because I I |
| 1738s | experienced guy a lot different than |
| 1739s | everybody else everyone else experienced |
| 1741s | sky and was like oh my God it's so hard |
| 1743s | and nobody tells you what to do and this |
| 1744s | and that and I had the opposite |
| 1746s | experience I got to um you know and meet |
| 1750s | new friends meet some of my moderators |
| 1752s | meet um you know a whole bunch of people |
| 1754s | that were like yes this is what you do |
| 1755s | in sky and this is what you do and I was |
| 1758s | getting carried for the most of it and |
| 1760s | me as a streamer I was like hey I'm just |
| 1762s | going to hold your hand and you're just |
| 1763s | going to carry me through the game and |
| 1766s | um it was funny |
| 1769s | yeah that's pretty much what what what |
| 1770s | uh you know streaming Sky could |
| 1772s | sometimes be if you allow it to be is |
| 1775s | that there are very very friendly people |
| 1777s | out in the community that are there to |
| 1780s | just be like let me just hold your hand |
| 1784s | and uh you know I'm going to bring you |
| 1785s | there and um I try to kind of like |
| 1788s | create that experience as well too as |
| 1790s | I'm I'm working my way into kind of |
| 1792s | making more tutorial content for Sky um |
| 1795s | but it's it's hard for me not to to lead |
| 1797s | sometimes |
| 1799s | honestly uh Josh you you have this |
| 1802s | stream right and people know you for |
| 1803s | your stream but not everybody knows that |
| 1805s | you also have a podcast right so what's |
| 1807s | the experience of having that podcast go |
| 1810s | and the biggest difference that you find |
| 1813s | between that and actually being on |
| 1814s | camera with people Tio listen doing a |
| 1818s | podcast with rad and this was 100% rad |
| 1821s | world's idea shout out to rad um he one |
| 1825s | day came up to me we were both in the |
| 1827s | the sky Creator troop and doing a |
| 1831s | podcast for a game light sky is 100% |
| 1833s | different right like we got to be able |
| 1834s | to watch like what our personal opinions |
| 1837s | are and got to watch you know what's |
| 1840s | going on in the community and having |
| 1841s | discussions about that but and I love |
| 1843s | that me and rad are able to be on a and |
| 1846s | I haven't even gotten past this fourth |
| 1848s | this first part um having |
| 1852s | discussions about Sky which is a game |
| 1855s | that both me and rad love and have been |
| 1856s | streaming for a long long time |
| 1860s | we get deep in conversations right we |
| 1862s | we're not afraid to have those difficult |
| 1864s | conversations sometimes that people kind |
| 1866s | of stay away from about like the |
| 1868s | difficulties of Sky the difficulties of |
| 1869s | streaming Sky you know the experiences |
| 1872s | that people have and we try to put a a |
| 1874s | you know mostly positive spin on on the |
| 1877s | community especially when it comes to |
| 1878s | like hard things to understand uh you |
| 1881s | know like when bugs happen in the game |
| 1882s | and stuff like that |
| 1884s | and I I love that me and Brad can can |
| 1887s | like have these conversations together |
| 1890s | and put it in a way that it's just like |
| 1891s | well here's another way to look at it |
| 1893s | and put a positive spin on it because I |
| 1895s | know a lot of the times it's hard to |
| 1896s | kind of explain those things away and I |
| 1899s | really hope that pretty soon as we |
| 1901s | continue to keep doing the podcast um we |
| 1904s | record it live on Twitch and then I go |
| 1906s | ahead and take the time edit it and then |
| 1908s | put it over on YouTube so they live |
| 1909s | permanently on YouTube um you know we we |
| 1913s | take the time to kind of curate and talk |
| 1915s | about like the new things that are |
| 1916s | happening you know whether it's exciting |

| 2163s | not continue from there so I feel like I |
| 2165s | kind of took advantage of of you know |

| 2169s | trying to invite other streamers to kind |

| 2172s | just like once or twice a week um and I |
| 2174s | loved meeting other people that were |
| 2176s | doing it before me that were streaming |
| 2178s | sky on Twitch before me that were doing |
| 2179s | content creation for sky and I I can't |
| 2183s | say that the reason that I can't believe |
| 2187s | that I'm one of the most permanent |
| 2188s | streamers like on Twitch or the longest |

| 2481s | trying to find some players that were |

| 2486s | all the dailies played every season even |
| 2488s | in between Seasons like just was always |
| 2491s | a part of this game and so I decided to |
| 2494s | start streaming to to find those people |
| 2497s | um and I figured that you know why not |
| 2501s | um that would probably be a pretty |
| 2503s | decent place so then I also started to |
| 2504s | go to other Sky streamers and became |
| 2507s | friends with them because I was like who |
| 2509s | else would be playing every day than Sky |
| 2511s | streamers themselves so I was like maybe |
| 2513s | I need to make friends with them so I |
| 2516s | was was just honestly looking to find |
| 2519s | people that were in love with the game |
| 2521s | as I was and started streaming it to do |
| 2523s | that and I've definitely done that for |
| 2528s | my own personal goal but I continue |
| 2533s | because I've had people come to me |
| 2535s | saying thank you because now they've |
| 2539s | made friends and they found groups of |
| 2541s | people to play with on a consistent |
| 2542s | basis so regardless if I see them ever |
| 2545s | again or not I know that they're happy |
| 2548s | playing sky and that's what's important |
| 2550s | to |
| 2551s | me and you told me uh as we were talking |
| 2554s | about the stream and getting ready and |
| 2556s | everything that one of the biggest |
| 2557s | things that were exciting to you was you |
| 2560s | know becoming friends with people who |
| 2562s | you admire in the past Josh being one of |
| 2564s | them right so yes well yeah how do you |
| 2567s | have any meaningful experiences that you |
| 2569s | want to share with the chat and with me |
