Clash was cited as training wheels for conquest, which it never really was. It was basically Arena with towers because of how narrow the map was.
But Slash, it has a larger map, although the distances between the towers are quite short, it has objectives which encourage you to look at the map, which is a big part of conquest, and rotations feel meaningful enough that maybe you might want to call it.
Honestly I'm having a great time with it and I think they have done extremely well with its design. I also enjoy the spawn timers, I like how if you get the red it's nice to get the speed then the waves. The spawn timers feel right.
