HiRez, can you please address the issues the game is having outside the EU/NA servers? There was a post about the Brazilian servers not too long ago and SEA and OCE players came out saying their servers are also facing rubberbanding issues. The game has been pretty much unplayable for the past few months and there hasn't been a single statement about it, all we got was an answer to said post where HiRezAjax said this issue was being look into and that's all. Can we get any more information? How can multiple servers face the same problem and take so long to be solved? Obviously if this was happening on NA/EU servers this would've been fixed within days and you'd address the issues publicly. Not even the official Smite Trello has these issues listed. Should we all just move to NA and EU servers? I've been dealing with this problem for a long time now and have been pushing through it because I truly love and enjoy the game but it just feels like a joke now.

I have been told from our Server Operations team that many servers in those regions were adjusted 6 days ago, August 11th.

Can you confirm that your issues have been persisting since then? If so, can you help provide me with additional information?

  • What region are you in?

  • Can you describe the specific type of lag youre having? (low ping but high rubber band seems to be the most common description in these cases)

  • How frequent does it occur (every game? 50% roughly? etc)

  • Any patterns? (only happens at evening time of your timezone, only happens on conquest, etc)

  • Can you provide match IDs of "bad matches" where the issue was present?

We are not ignoring the issue, and we arent avoiding it. The communication/documentation is vague because we havent been able to find a consistent way to identify the issues, EXCEPT for player feedback.

There have been multiple servers restarted, upgraded, changed providers, etc in all of these regions over the past few months. But the issues always seem to come back.

Thank you for keeping the communication open with us, as we are relying on it a lot in order to try to solve it.
