It's that time of the year again! /r/Smite needs a few extra moderators, so we're opening up applications to the masses. Anyone is welcome to apply, but things that will make your application stronger include:

  • Friendliness and dedication
  • Activity on /r/Smite
  • Detailed application form
  • CSS experience
  • Programming/AutoMod experience
  • Previous mod experience

If you don't have any of these, don't be discouraged; send in an application anyway. We'll just laugh and reject it take a look at it and get back to you!

Here is the link to the application page. We're not sure on the deadline for this just yet, but it'll be 4-5 days at minimum, if not longer. When we decide on a deadline, we'll edit the post and leave a stickied comment. Ideally we'll get back to you to let you know if we've received your application, and then get back to you again after we've come to a decision with a debrief on your application. If there's a lot of applications, it might not be a very length debrief. I'm lazy. Also, I know it's not February YET, but it will be soon.

If you have any questions, send us a message in modmail or ask below.

That's okay. Do I resubmit my application or no? (I hope I don't have to because I can't remember word for word what I put q-q)

No need, we'll just mark it manually :)

Yes friends, you too can be involved in schoolyard drama should your application be approved

Gotta admit, that's genuinely quite funny.

However, on a more serious note, we are really trying to put that drama behind us and move on forward and improve the subreddit in ways the community sees fit.

I think he might be gone. Not sure. He’s not on the mod list.

I'm gonna be short and to the point, cause I don't want to comment on this but it's causing a lot of confusion.

TripleCharged is not a moderator.

If this weren't about TripleCharged but some other community member, I'd temp ban you given your post history, but since I understand you're heated up, this is your final warning. I don't care how heated up you get but that is no way to speak about anyone.

You honestly should've made a post about this, because some people are still under the impression that he is a mod

That doesn't matter as this wasn't done for people's impression.
