Whose idea was to "Fix" Horus procing Hydra lament? The god had this feature in his kit for 3+ years and that have never been a problem. The description says clearly, that the Gust is as a basic attack, that can not crit, why in the hell this can not use AA items and how does hydra description contradict with it? Do they afraid of burst damage Horus could provide in jungle? Still his DPM were low, because of him being limited in two ability only, yes, he can wipe 1500-1700 hp, but what jungler can't (or even more), yes he does that with 2 ability, while others with 3-4. CC? Pele can one shot people, still having her knock ups. Susano, has cc and hydra procs.
Why is this even so important with future health and prot increasing across all the gods, which will make his damage less deadly?
How many games were played as Horus jungle, 3%, 5%? If his damage that big so he need to get killed the main feature which makes him to do damage, so why he still not meta jungler?
He was useless in s7, he was useless in s8, he started to be interesting and some how viable, getting his popularity growing only with buffs to his damage at begining of snowball meta throughout s8. But now the devs are aiming to change exactly that reason in game, that made Horus viable. When the snowball meta will over, when the gods will not be able to kill each other in second, why Horus will exist? No more early agression, no more setups, he will fall back where he was since s7, where the only bright thing were playing him in jungle with Hydra lament. A boring support, who can only 2-1 people and please, do not say about his ultimate, no need to lie, be realistic - he has no ultimate in 90% situations across all skill levels.
Devs said they like flexing roles, Horus being able to use hydra was a good example of god, who can flex in different role without breaking the game.
