Spotify, Riot, & AWS all gave me coding exercises I never come close to in my actual job. None of them handled my accommodations request very well (no live audience), either. Hilariously, at one Big Game Company, I was interviewing as a game designer and one of the people interviewing me was a coder, and started off by asking me about graph traversal, and I had to stop him and be like, "Hey, so you know I'm a designer, right?"
