My brother recently purchased the $25 gold pack on the Switch version of the game to get a specific skin, only to find that the in-game shop doesn't work on the switch, he could not buy it or anything else with that gold. This gold also didn't transfer to his (same) account on the PS4 version, so therefore he can do nothing with that gold.

He contacted support multiple times and has received no response despite it having been several days, and contacted Proletariat and Spellbreak on Twitter and was essentially just told how to contact support.

We both love the game but at this point, Spellbreak has essentially stolen from him and it's ridiculous that they haven't even responded. They also shouldn't let anyone purchase gold packs on the Switch if they can't use that gold.

If anyone has any ideas on how to rectify this, definitely open to input, but we're not sure what else to try. I hope someone from the game sees this and can help.

EDIT/Update: Support has contacted him asking for more info on his account for security purposes (which is obviously reasonable). However, it stands that you should not buy using real money on the Switch shop because you will NOT be able to use it and the game should suspend purchases on the Switch for this reason.

Hey folks,

We're looking into this issue internally. We want for players to be able to spend the Gold as much as you want to spend it.

Apologies for the inconvenience.
