"Na tournaments are better"

To clarify: we are not sponsoring tournaments *instead* of marketing the game. One does not preclude the other, as Community =/= Marketing.
Dude, yet to see any spellbreak advertisement. I think the point he’s making is you chose to do this visibly more than you market your game.
The two aren't mutually exclusive.
True but when you see one, not the other, and one should really be prioritised over the other, until you have an active and returning playerbase, it leads us to believe you have no clue how to market the game correctly and are simply catering to the hardcore fans who aren’t going anywhere :)
Literally nearly every day there is a complaint about the fact the game is not inviting for new players because of, among several things, being stomped by hardcore players who have 2 years experience over them. But hey you know what you’re doing. No SBMM and doing nothing to draw new players in sounds like an aces plan.
This is a community event, not a marketing event. Community and Brand (marketing) are two different teams that do two different things.
