As Closed Beta 2 draws to a close and the development team is hard at work behind the scenes getting ready for launch, it’s time to talk about what’s happening in the weeks to come, leading up to launch later this year.

All Spellbreak servers will be brought offline for the end of Closed Beta 2 on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 10AM EDT/16:00 CET.

We’ve already made some exciting announcements and even with all of this news we’ve still got more to share in the weeks ahead. Be sure to follow us on Twitter, like our Facebook page, and subscribe on YouTube to stay up to date on all of the spicy Spellbreak news.

You may have already noticed, but we’re going to be revamping and overhauling the official Spellbreak Discord server. We’re making some changes to ensure that the official Discord is easier to understand, so new players can get the help they need, connect with each other, and find out the best ways to interact directly with the Proletariat team. As part of this revamp, we’ll be simplifying channels, reorganizing the categorizations, and reviewing the roles structure. If you’re a player who has lost your Founder role, we’ll be introducing a limited time process where you can have that role reinstated.

We’ll be continuing with the Discord AMA sessions, making sure that players have the opportunity to ask the dev team their questions directly.

We’re also looking to grow the ranks of our volunteer moderation team. If you want to help us build something special and are passionate about making sure that Spellbreak is a welcome and diverse community, we’d love to hear from you!

Starting next week, we’re going to be kicking off a large community-driven project with the official Discord community, to keep us all playing together during the downtime. More details to come on this, so stay tuned to the #announcements channel.

If you’re one of the many folks out there who tune into Seth’s Office Hours or the After Hours livestream, never fear, because we’re going to keep these streams going during downtime.

Seth will be talking about the development of Spellbreak, and sharing some memories of builds of yesteryear, so be sure to tune in if you’d like to learn more about how we got to where we are today.

The Community team will be returning with the After Hours stream, playing cooperative and group games with the community every Thursday night at 7PM EDT.

Of course none of this includes all of the news and updates we’re going to be sharing with you as we draw ever closer to the official launch of Spellbreak, later this year.

Be sure to join the official Spellbreak Discord server to stay up to date on everything happening in the community!

We’ll see you in the Hollow Lands
