You can build a "sleeper" that will suspend metabolic functions (hunger, thirst, etc...) while someone is inside it.

However, the sleeper will not provide oxygen; which a suspended body will still require. You can connect a passive vent up to the input of the sleeper to simply mix with the atmosphere of the room, or setup an active scrubbing system.

Note that suspended bodies will still produce carbon dioxide and heat, so you will need to deal with that.
