[2024] Third race theory

Assuming we are going off the three archetypes StarCraft does (human faction with meat and potatoes design, swarming faction come to consume and spread, and hyper advanced faction) I have a theory based on the lore and current factions.

In Stormgate the stormgate is opened and a portal to hell is created, not unlike Doom. The Infernals are the hellish race that consumes and spreads and ravages, similar to the Zerg. The human vanguard are just that, the humans caught in the whirlwind much like the Terran. Based on the hell motif I have a feel/think it would be interesting if they went full on heaven vs hell in a sci fi setting. Perhaps they will blend angelic figures with technology as the creator race.

I think the third race will be some sort of super advanced angelic alien race. Something that harkens back to seraphim and the like. Units that feature white and gold coloring (with an accent of the player color) that use some kind of holy magic or technology. A race that utilizes less numbers on the field but those units are super strong. Maybe they will focus more on spell casters or space magic of sorts.

Idk, could be wrong. Just some late night thoughts.
