| 76s | you start to get into it and and there's |

| 80s | Discovery I do not view War as a |
| 82s | competition or a game and Wars he's an |
| 85s | aggressive dude and he's really angry |
| 87s | and and we need him to be scary and uh |
| 89s | and and there's you know something kind |
| 91s | of demonic about him too so it |
| 93s | definitely you know tends to come from |
| 97s | here man I've been a fan of RTS my whole |
| 100s | life RTS was some of the biggest games |
| 103s | that anyone could play when I was a kid |
| 106s | really in the late '90s early 2000s was |
| 108s | kind of like a golden era for that whole |
| 110s | genre you know you had Starcraft you had |
| 112s | brood war of course my favorites but you |
| 114s | had Age of Empires you know You' Command |
| 116s | and Conquer and so many others you know |
| 118s | first game of Starcraft I played was |
| 119s | when I was like like 13 years old I mean |
| 122s | the last game of Starcraft I played was |
| 124s | like last week um so when we heard that |
| 127s | you know storm gate was happening and |
| 129s | that it was so many of the same people |
| 131s | who made the games that I loved growing |
| 133s | up and wor shipped in a lot of ways um I |
| 136s | got |
| 137s | excited there's so much I love about the |
| 139s | RTS genre they're strategy games first |
| 141s | and foremost they're these giant |
| 143s | elaborate games of Chess you play top |
| 146s | down you control an army and you get to |
| 149s | see these like awesome battles happening |
| 151s | and you you get to micromanage your |
| 153s | units and you get to control your |
| 154s | resources and there's so many places |
| 156s | that your brain needs to be at the same |
| 158s | time and there's so many different |
| 159s | skills that go into it it was an |
| 162s | incredible experience visiting Frost |
| 163s | giant I mean first of all you know you |
| 164s | don't visit video game studios every day |
| 167s | and it was just so cool stepping into |
| 169s | the office seeing so much of the artwork |
| 171s | and the characters kind of starting to |
| 173s | come together the units and and |
| 175s | everything and then actually getting to |
| 177s | sit down and play it felt good to play |
| 179s | test of the game it's already shaping up |
| 181s | to be super |
| 182s | promising has all of the Dynamics and |
| 184s | the features that you would expect of an |
| 186s | RTS and of the team of that |
| 188s | caliber it was like a dream come |
| 191s | true I played against one of my best |
| 193s | friends Jason and I won the scrimmage |
| 196s | which um I'll never let Him Live down |
| 198s | until the day that he dies but uh it |
| 201s | felt good to get the dub they had a |
| 203s | trophy for |
| 206s | me it was uh first Asian man to beat |
| 209s | storm |
| 211s | gate and it's sitting on my desk because |
| 214s | it's one of my proudest |
| 216s | possessions I think what's most exciting |
| 218s | about stormgate is that it was made by |
| 221s | people who love RTS it's not driven by |
| 225s | by money or profit it's driven by love |
| 227s | and it's driven by art and craft in a |
| 229s | way I think anytime you make those types |
| 232s | of decisions you're really set up for |
| 233s | Success because the passion the passion |
| 235s | is |
| 237s | there and look the genre that we all |
| 240s | love you know has been kind of Mia for |
| 243s | the last few years and now it's poised |
| 245s | to make a comeback in a really really |
| 247s | big and amazing way with stormgate so I |
| 249s | hope that you all join me in playing and |
