Hey everyone!

The event schedule for December has been published. This month the Pirate Incursion, Rakghoul Resurgence, and All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally events will make an appearance. These of course will be joined by the seasonal Life Day and Anniversary events as well.

I'm sure some of you are already wondering why the start and end time for events later this month are different than the norm. Game Update 6.2 'Echoes of Vengeance' will change the Conquest reset timer, making it match the Weekly Mission reset timer.

Hey everyone!

I wanted to follow-up here with some clarity on a few things. Conquests will begin at 12:00pm GMT, so the previous Conquest week will end at 11:00am GMT to allow for the hour cooldown period between events.

Some of you have been curious why we're making this timing change. We have aspects of SWTOR that reset on a weekly basis - Operations lockouts, Weekly Mission Resets, Conquests, etc. We know that these events are important for players and some modify their playtime based on when these resets happen. Aligning all our reset timers makes things easier for players to keep up to date with SWTOR, provides an expectation for future resets, and helps prevent potential development problems on our end when having multiple systems using different resetting behavior.

Very fair question, which I have talked over with the team. With regards to why Pirate Incursion is occurring twice this month while Gree and Bounty Contract Week are not happening, it's because we wanted to highlight our newer events more around the general holiday window.

For us Conquests can fall into two categories - ones tied to specific in-game events (EX. Pirate Incursion) and ones that are standalone (EX. Flashpoint Havoc). The in-game event schedule is something the team has more of a manual touch on, meanwhile the Conquests that fall between the in-game events are randomly determined. While it's easy for us to pull up the in-game event schedule to communicate it broadly at the beginning of every month, that really isn't the case for the non-event Conquests, which is why we never folded those in to the outward facing article/page updates.

We really appreciate the constructive feedback around around certain in-game events appearing more than others and we'll take this into account as we look into potential changes next year.

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to post a reminder that this week's Conquest is ending earlier according to our timing changes introduced with Game Update 6.2. From this point on, Conquests will now end at 11:00am GMT with the next Conquest beginning a hour later at 12:00pm GMT.
