[2020] Is their an in game tutorial?

there is so much to this game. I don't know heroes so portraits and units don't automatically pair up in my mind. its hard to learn so many units. what was the thing where they were walking in a circle? who go first? sometimes my items combined... how do i know which do?

I've seen people I have common game interest with praise this game. But I am surprised at the lack of in game teaching...
