[2021] Are the Skyglass Origins missions bugged?

Had some devils lettuce for lunch and decided to do the Skyglass missions, but I'm having some issues. It seems like even though two missions are active simultaneously, only one mission can be completed per match.

To clarify; I just played a ranked match with the missions "Forgotten" (50 gold) and "Verdant" (5 traits) active. Easy enough, I got my 5 traits and, as usual, saved up to 60 gold before I rolled it all away and didn't get sh*t. "Sweet, two missions completed.", got 2nd place, closed the match and checked the progress just to see that only one of the missions is shown as completed. I also had the same issue with the first two.

I'm not sure if it's intentional or a bug, or perhaps I'm just high as sh*t. I've read the event info but it didn't make me any smarter. It says that "The missions will need to be completed sequentially" so that might be the issue, but that doesn't make any sense if it's the only two missions that are active, right?
