I just came from a game where I got 6(!!) Tears. I am completely baffled, I thought you could only naturally get 3 of any item from minions. However, I got 4. Decided to take Item Grabbag, because what can you do with 4 tears, got 2 more...................
External link →From Natural PVE drops you can only get the same component up to 3 times, and even then it's weighted so it's less likely. You also can't get them until the 2nd and 3rd carousel (so for example you can't drop 3 tears by 2-7).
However these have NO CONNECTION to Carousels or augments. If you naturally drop 3 tears, then take tear every carousel you could have 7 tears. It's also possible for component grab bag to give you 3 tears, and Urf's Grab Bag to give you 3 tears. Maybe Salvage Bin gives you blue buff? So with all that its THEORETICALLY POSSIBLE to have like 15 tears? But like...
