I love pokemon and I definitely love the idea of an open world Pokemon MMORPG, my only worry about the game is that its still i Early Access. Is it worth playing now or waiting til Spring when the full release is out?
What gonna be the major differences between Full release and early access? Does early Access have trophies/achievements, my worry is not liking the EA then when the full version comes out not wanting to dive back in because of my experience with EA. Lots of ppl that hate EA or Betas are told "well of course its EA or beta, wait til the full version is released then see if its still sucks" Issue with that is I know lots of games that sucked in EA/beta that the full release literally was no different at all except maybe glitch free and bug fixes, now the game did get betters years after its release but thats not the same as it being good on day one of release from EA/beta to full.
So is what we have now already 90% of what we're gonna see in full or will full release be extremely different and expanded upon with loads mo9re content (right now I hear theres about 90 Temtem which sounds low considering the first Pokemon game n game boy launched with 150.
Also good MMOs have lasting appeal by having enough content to make you stick around long after youve finished the story and (in this games case) caught all the Temtem, yet I've heard nothing about this games endgame situation except its just PVP with no rewards, that doesnt sound like something thatll keep someone around for months, what about more/harder dungeons with new/rare Temtem and stuff like raids (REAL raids where you travel through a dungeon with a larger than usual group of people and fight some epic boss at the end thats hard as hell and requires strategy and teamwork for some epic loot or Temtem) and I mention REAL raids o point out that crap Pokemon calls a raid is NOTHING like a raid in the traditional sense, 3-4 trainers fight 1 huge boss that are literally no harder than any of the fights youve been up against before that point, I wouldnt call that a raid)/
