[2022] So what actually raises the battle pass XP?

I know the game says almost everything but I’ve only noticed it to go up in wild battles. No trainer battles. I’m on the third island. Seems to go up really slow atm. Just looking for tips. Thanks

  • Winning ranked matches
  • Doing dojo rematches
  • Completing weekly fishing (both on 4/5 and 5/5)
  • Daily Postal Service
