Hi,

I just bought the game through the Epic Games launcher and installed it afterwards through Uplay, applied the updates and then launched the game this morning. Or at least attempted to. Everytime i try to launch the game, i get 3 seconds of the game actually running and then it crashes before getting to the main menu screen.

My rig should be WAY more than enough to run the game and i am rather displeased to have a game i just got not work properly.

Any fix or advices?

If this is the reason its pretty ****ty patch the game and then say what you cant play now well too bad. Thanks for the warning or lack off.

wonder if we will be offered refunds being that if this is what has happened It is ubisoft doing this deliberately

SHame on you if you have done this ubisoft a year into the game
We're seeing a few players that are having issues with the game after Title Update 7 went live, namely players that have AMD Phenom processors (or other processors that don't support SSE4.2) and that were able to play the game before the Update are now crashing.
When we looked into this we noticed that it was related to these processors which are below the minimum requirements and are not officially supported by The Division 2.
Unfortunately, this means that some players might not be able to play on systems using these processors anymore.

You can have a look at the following article to check for compatibility here.
