Due to the GE currently running in TD1 I jumped into the game, dusted off my D3FNC and started running Lexington. My set consists of 5 classified items - I am still hunting my final classy D3 item and wanted to collect GE credits for the next GE in January, which will offer D3 crates.

I played TD1 for years and have been playing TD2 since launch - and yet I was surprised and amazed at how fun the different play styles would be.

In TD2 I have a very skill heavy build (HW with around 4.5k skill power, seeker mines and turret) and enjoy this a greatly. Sometimes I switch it up with my survivor (health/kill and health/s with high armor/health) or DPS bleed (OD with wicked and sadist and seekers).

Going back to my TD1 build (D3FNC) I felt like an absolute tank, facing down elites and single handedly clearing Lexington on challenging. I ran Underground missions and even faced hunters again (the ones that melt you in seconds... ;) ). It was great fun - and made me realize that the gear sets in TD2 are not weaker, but simply different.

I love TD2 and enjoy doing different stuff each time I log in (invaded stuff, bounties, LZ landmarks, following NPC convoys, shepherding other agents, quickdipping DZ) and use different builds, that I never fully got to work in TD1 (like tactician or predator).

TLDR: Both TD1 and TD2 are brilliant games, each in their own way. Give both of them a try and enjoy the different feeling/atmosphere/builds.

Still TLDR: Great joy Massive for making two great games. :)
