It would be great if we could have a Transmorg system.

Especially now with the great-looking Reaper set.

My Fenris Chest looks crappy with this green colour, even when i put black on it, it is still more green then black. i would love to change it with the Hardwired Chest skin.

Or give us the option to hide the vests, the backpack also.

Maybe I belong to the minority but for me Fashion is important. There are a few pieces of equipment that do not look good and I would be very happy if we had the opportunity to adapt the optics from other pieces.

It's something we think would be great but it's not a priority right now. It likely would need a pretty hefty development time to make this happen and we'd like to focus on the gameplay things first, like improving the RPG, Recalibration, fixing the "Inventory Manager" game and such.

We'll mention the transmogrification and full re-customization of agents to the team again though, in case some opportunities open up to get these things in.

Sure, focusing on all the things that should be already done since day one is better !

I'll bite on this. I don't agree that these things have been terrible since launch. But, as the game has move forward and players have sunk a lot of time into it, it's clear that the initial intention for some of these areas are not working anymore.

Luckily we have devs that are very invested in making the game better, so we're now trying to find improvements for many things. That doesn't mean that everything is always terrible and saying it just devalues how much time players have spend enjoying The Division 2 so far.

I hope one of the priorities is fixing the random crash issue on ps4. Pain in the ass when I log in, get 2 heroics done w a squad, and then the game crashes. Like the game too much to quit, but I'm considering it being that I've got more games to play that don't randomly crash.

Crashes are definitely on the list, no matter the platform. These are normally handled by different teams as well, so this should not be exclude us from being able to make the game better.

So hardcore mode was deemed a higher priority than something that’s been requested a week after launch?

No, not at all. It was done as a side project by some developers. Hardcore Mode wasn't planned at all.

So side projects are taking priority then?

Just to make that clear, this was done by developers in their spare time. Not sacrificing any resources for something else.

Sorry my previous reply was actually a bit short and asinine. Can you see how it looks though that side projects are being pushed over things the community have been asking for since pretty much release?

I think an issue here is that "what the community has been asking" is not necessarily what we can, want or will do. There are a lot of things that are requested every day and in an ideal world we would do all of them.

But there are a lot of limitations and also sometimes just things we don't feel will add value. We think Hardcore Mode is a fun addition to the game, didn't take anything away from somebody and didn't stop us doing more stuff.

We are continuously developing more content for the game and will have news on Episode 3 and beyond in the new year. We also understand that some players are very unhappy that we're not doing Survival, Underground or any other TD1 mode in the game. We therefore will take that feedback and see what parts of these modes we can take and implement in things we work on or will work on.

I understand that it didn’t take anyone away. But I also understand that nobody(a very small part*) actually asked for hardcore mode. It works well in the ghost recon games as the “gear” you get doesn’t have any variable stats to the weapons e.g talents. Again I’m not trying to directly have a go, just voicing an opinion. I am thankful for the communication you guys provide by being active in the Reddit and other forum communities. If we don’t have a little clash before the holidays I hope you have a merry Christmas and happy new year.

Thanks for reaching out! And happy holidays to you too! :)

Please tell us that we will get an API for Inventory Management!?

Not something we have investigated much so far. We'd rather make the RPG better to allow players to stop hording everything.

Well, from a business financial stand point, I'd thought a company would hire a art team specifically for customization. Its something thats easily monetizable and its pretty clear from any game, customization is VERY important to players.

We have an art team that specifically works on Apparel. But to make re-customization viable you need a lot of different teams. Making a feature in the game that allows you to completely change the look of your agent or your gear is not something an artist can put into the game.

Ah I see what you'e saying, and maybe the words I used wasnt the right ones to get my thoughts across clearly.

But what im trying to get across is, since a video game company,(not your company specifically) knows that players will spend money for customization and expressing themselves through dressing up like we do in real life, A share holder in that company would assume that the company would maximize their opportunity to utilize that feature to satisfy the player to maximize that revenue stream.

We've seen other companies do it to great success. I'd like to see Massive be successful in this area too. Anything that makes you guys look good in shareholders calls.

So what you're saying is we should monetize character re-customization and transmogrification? I don't know any game company that requires you to pay to access these features. Good to know and thanks for the info!
