[2020] Bugged Mission is bricking the game

Hey guys, just grabbed D2 on PC the other day and it's totally broken. I'm stuck on the first mission where you reach the white house lawn and procede upstairs to the division commander (from memory with my time on PS4). It appears that the game never acknowledged me reaching the white House and never triggered the "meet the commander upstairs" task. I can approach the door and hold F to enter but nothing happens. Tried a reinstall and still no luck.

Is this a common issue? I'm totally unable to play the game with this bug
