If your in console, then we'll that's just tough crap. If your on pc then we are listening and here is another pts, "the raid is a little harder on console" is that man oblivious.. I'm not asking for a nerf just a little recognition that there is a little difference between a little harder at 5 and half hours and 3 and half DAYS. yes as console players we have some issues which make the game harder but if you can't be arsed to just get into it or even try an do it on console so you can see the difference for yourself, then please down have some person come on and basically call every console owner not worth taking any from. We get it your a pc game you don't give a crap about console problems at least have the balls to tell us straight. We spent money on it too. Let me clarify that I know it's not hamish's fault or that he didn't try to raise the issue, but that twiglet who was with him was just an absolute dismissive tool. If he's the community manager then no wonder the games in the state its in. Never have I seen anyone less concerned about anything anyone else has to say...

Yeah, I actually made the same snaffoo from memory and then clarified that I meant "shooter" rather than FPS. At it's core, it's an issue with a difference of inputs and it's certainly not a new thing for The Division. The game has always been harder on console (unless for some reason you find a controller easier than a M/KB) but I do think this conversation is a good one to have. Apologies to u/theoldwolfps4 if my delivery seemed insensitive, that's the last thing I wanted.

For the sake of conversation, here's some musings I think that'd be good to go over:

  • Why is it that now (given that this is the way it has always been in The Division 1&2) that the difficulty difference between PC and Console is such a hot topic?
  • Is it because of the competitive nature of the raid or is there something else going on?
  • Is the raid just simply too hard on console?
  • Is it too hard relative to the rewards?
  • Let's imagine that The Division 1 & 2 were never released on PC; would we still have the same discussion on console difficulty?

u/theoldwolfps4 is right though, I am a PC gamer and I'm not qualified to pass any judgement on the experience of console gamers. If anyone watched my terrible skills on console early on when streaming TD1, you can believe me when I say that I'd likely have the same frustrations were I to try the raid on console today. Regardless, that's all entirely irrelevant unless we can answer the question "where to from here?"
