It's happened to me multiple times now but I finally got it recorded. Basically when you finish a mission or stronghold and a boss drops loot it will totally disappear so that you can never get it.
In this particular video I believe the merciless dropped from the boss (thankfully already had it but RIP exotic components) and was visibly on the ground with the other boss drops but when we kill the final enemies the loot straight up disappears.
This didn't happen to my teammate that was in party with me. It seemed to only effect me which leads me to believe it might have something to do with exotic drops or a certain threshold of drops from a boss?
This occurred on Xbox and it is not the first time it's happened to me.
If I wasn't already set with exotics or I was farming for my first ever exotic I'd be furious /crushed. Someone in my comments said it happened to them with the chatterbox bp... that would SUCK.
