Hey team,

I just bought Assassins Creed 1 to play on PC and the game is not launching after the detection app is run and the bar fills out.

I've tried :

  1. Running the app through Ubisoft Connect,
  2. Running Ubisoft Connect as Admin,
  3. Installed the game with Ubisoft Connect as Admin
  4. Run each .exe file as Admin (AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe, AssassinsCreed_Dx10.exe, AssassinsCreed_Game.exe)
  5. Run each .exe file in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP SP2, XP SP3, Windows 7 and Windows 8
  6. Disabling "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service"
  7. Disabling Internet Connection
  8. Disabling all Services at Startup
  9. Disabling Virus Protection w/ internet off

Have you guys found any workaround for this?

My PC Specs:
AMD 5950X (Ryzen Master installed)
RTX 3090 (Driver v471.41)
Game installed on C Drive (SSD)
Windows 10 Pro 21H1 (19043.1110)

@zetsubou92 Thank you for contacting us, we're sorry to hear you've been encountering issues getting AC 1 started.

When you launch the game, does it show and processes in the Task Manager? Does it run the game as a background process for instance?
